On the Riverwalk, which is what we wanted and our room had a great view. The hotel was within walking distance of places we wanted to go. Parking was very crowded and although our neighbors were a bit loud on the first night, the second night was fine. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

The Holiday Inn is a 3 star hotel, which is perfectly adequate for a stay along the RiverWalk. From our hotel window we could look down on the boats traversing the River Walk, just lovely. I had never been to San Antonio so the choice of this welcoming and perfectly located hotel worked out very well for us.

Front desk staff could have been more helpful and friendly. When we arrived, we asked about open restaurants, and she had no suggestions. The next day we had some issues in the room. We were gone until evening, and upon our return, they had not been addressed.

I booked my room 2 months ahead of time. When I checked in the young man said my room was already booked and he had to move me but I couldn't get a kingsize bed. I willingly moved but at check out I was charged $469 for the highrise suite. I stayed on the 3rd floor with a broken bed. The hot tub had broken tile/glass on the floor and none of the jets were working. I was given the option to park for $34 or valet for much more. When I chose to park myself, I was told I had to park down the street there was no more room. The water in the room never got over luke warm. I stayed 3 nights but will never go back.
