We have been going to this property for years and the last 2 years seems to be getting worse. We love the area because it’s close to so many things. The staff is wonderful but they need to pay more attention to the exterior of the property. There trash everywhere especially the back of the property by the pool. The building that has carports has used old items from rooms just thrown there. The pool gets very loud at night. This was the first year we traveled with our pets and they state it’s per friendly but they don’t have any area for pets. I hope they do clean up because we would love to continue to stay at that hotel next year

Ok, first off, online this place looks amazing! But it’s just a standard ordinary hotel. The door in itself, well not very secure! Upon entry pieces of wood broke off & stabbed/cut my hand a little. Door gaps even when locked, bolted- didn’t feel very secure. Our room wasn’t clean, or cleaned poorly. Unvacuumed, dirty floor with nail clippings & pieces of plastic & trash, the tissue box was empty & the bathroom door (a pocket door) didn’t latch/lock and the shower pressure wasn’t too strong.(water was plenty hot enough though) THE PARKING is AWFUL. It’s a ONE WAY ONLY entry & exit. PLUS THEY CHARGE $20 PER NIGHT as added parking fee! They don’t have “continental” or “free” early breakfast here, so plan on finding a place to eat. The GOOD: staff was nice, The pool is pretty with its tree lined/mountain background & it’s heated. Convenient location for all the attractions San Diego offers, but it’s your regular ok budget hotel

This was a pleasantly surprising stay. Staff great, rooms are updated and comfortable, and the pool area was surprisingly great. This was a last minute addition to our trip during a Holiday weekend, I wasn’t expecting much so to my surprise this turned out great!

Site was nice but old. people upstairs didn't walk but stomped. the room smelled of bleach... i think $20 per night to park at a motel is criminal. room rates make-up for most of this.. but definitely not the $20 parking its a motel!!

The hotel is noisy which we noticed this time more than others. We heard people above walking and showering, the cars in front of the room coming and going, and neighbors returning "home" very late talking outside the windows and closing doors.
