My stay at Hotel Majestic was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and responsive to my needs. The guests were from all over the world. The furnishings and decor throughout the hotel were enchanting - even the elevator! The location is within walking distance of CPMC hospital, Whole Foods, Japantown, local dining establishments, convenience stores, and more. And I got to experience the Japanese Cherry Blossum Festival 3 blocks away! Hotel Majestic was very affordable for everything it had to offer!

The owners clearly care for the place. Everything is clean, so the older style doesn't feel fuddy-duddy, but rather "vintage restored." Loved the ceiling fans over beds, the decent water pressure in the shower, and overall elegance from a more civilized time.

Great history of the Hotel. Over 100 years old and has a great vibe with the decor. Great little bar but closes early. Biggest draw back is the parking. You are fighting locals and other hotels in the area for parking. You wake up knowing you have to move your vehicle or go site seeing early. 8am to 5pm 2 hour parking. Strongly encourage a stay here when visitors Japan Town and the best Authentic Food in the Bay Area. Very short walking distance.

The hotel and rooms have great, old world elegance. Breakfast was adequate. We had a room at the front and it was very noisy at night as the windows seemed to provide no soundproofing at all. Also, only 2 of the 3 windows had room darkening shades so it was very bright in the morning. Liked that it was easy walking distance from Japantown which is where we parked our car at a very reasonable rate.

Fantastic!

Fantastic stay for a 1 night stay for an embassy appointment. With lots of options to choose from, I’ll glad I chose Hotel Majestic. I liked the “older” feel of the hotel and rooms, not like your modern sterile ones. Bed was super soft, bathtub was great after a long 2 days of traveling. Major shoutout to Manoj who went out of his way to help me (luggage, printing for me, copying a document, and just a great guy overall. If I’m ever back in this area, I will choose this hotel again.

Cute Hotel

Fun, cute boutique hotel. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was basic but nice to have with a nice seating area. Cute bar area too. Had a nice time with the family.
