It was a decent stay. The room itself is decorated nicely, and well appointed with a mini kitchen but is definitely dated. There is no AC, but it doesn’t get super hot here and the room has a ceiling fan that worked good. But it’s the location that is key here. The hotel is situated on a culdesac That is directly on the beach so it’s literally steps from the beach. Parking is free and you can park and everything is within walking distance. Chowder, ice cream, the famous cinnamon rolls, pizza, a taqueria, and a bar are all right there within a few blocks. We had the Turtle room and really enjoyed The view from the balcony in the morning.

We had a balcony overlooking the ocean, which was great! The location is perfect, and it is really nice that there is dedicated (free) parking, which gets locked up at night. The room and bathroom are fairly basic. There is a coffee maker, but if you don't like Folgers, you will need to bring your own. The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, utensils, a wine opener, plates, and mugs/glasses.

The view was fine. The patio door was large and let the breezes flow into my rooms. The furniture was comfortable and the entire experience was relaxing. I don’t remember when I’ve enjoyed a vacation quite so much.
