Clean room. Extremely friendly staff. Any issues Ed had were fixed within minutes with a smiley face. Only downfall was the beach. Unable to swim to excessive seaweed buildup. They had workers that kept up with the sea weed build up every day, but were unfortunately we were inable to ever swim at the beach as we would sink up your knees in seaweed everytime we walked into the water. Not a big deal for us though because we enjoyed Secret beach and other beaches in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

The room and resort was nice, but the sargassum was absolutely overwhelming. There was no way to enjoy the beach or even the pool. My friend and I ended up switching to a different resort because it was just too bad. The staff was incredibly accommodating and we did receive a refund. It was disappointing that we couldn't stay but the staff members really were excellent, understanding and helped us out. I appreciated their service and would probably stay again when the sargassum isn't as bad.

The attention to detail by the staff was amazing. They keep the grounds looking beautiful and made us feel important and welcome. We were very relaxed and enjoyed the benefit of having water available for drinking and cooking. I would recommend packing a water bottle to save money and for the sustainability. The resort is your own oasis and worth the drive. There are many wonderful places to eat and visit nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at this property 10/16-10/20. Yernia was fantastic! Like she literally helped make our trip wonderful and seamless. She helped us with the entire trip every step of the way. She had car services waiting for us, welcome drinks, helped with our hopper tickets and basically anything we asked for —she was able to provide. She was extremely friendly as well. The restaurant food was delicious and the cook was wonderful. We did get to meet her and thank her for a wonderful meal! The property was beautiful and remote. The inside was spacious, cool and very clean. The housekeepers came daily and did a wonderful job with upkeep. It truly was a wonderful experience! Customer service 10/10! Our driver even stuck around and took us to breakfast before we got on our flight. Now a few bad things that stopped this from being a 5 star review. The mosquitoes and sand fleas were a major problem, but we did go during rainy season so that may have been the issue. Also, the property is quite far from town and with some of the roads being unpaved, it was difficult to get to and from town.

The property was quiet and really nice. Well maintained and clean, I always clean our room/ home when we travel and this place was by far the cleanest. My clorox wipes had very little dust/ dirt on them. It is on a swamp area so there are quite a bit of mosquitos. It's also 8 miles from town so it's a bit of a drive from town in San Pedro. The roads are rough and dark. The good was good, just small portions. Overall i would recommend this place and i would stay again and bring my kids here.

Very quiet and clean property however the mosquitoes were miserable. The location is very far away from San Pedro and the roads are awful! Couldn’t rent a golf cart because of the terrible condition of the roads. Too far away for anything. The staff was nice and attentive.

The property was nice but there really was no beachfront like we purchased we had ask to change rooms due to the smell of sea grass piled up we weren’t able to access the beach as it shows in the pictures staff was friendly and the rooms were clean but not worth what we paid due to the scenery

The resort pictures I viewed on line before making my reservations showed a pristine beach. I love the beach and booked this resort based on what I saw in photos online. Unfortunately the beach was un-useable due to sargassum. A nasty sea weed that invades the island during the spring and summer. This was not disclosed. If it had I would not have booked this resort or visited Belize. If I had been made aware I would have tried to book a resort on the west side of the island where sargassum doesn't effect the beaches. This sea weed spoiled the whole vacation. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant when we got there. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered an appetizer. i ordered the calamari. My mouth fell open in shock when my plate arrived with just 4 rings of calamari for about $15.00 american.
