We were only here for 1 night and unfortunately didn't have time to check out the nearby shops or hotel gym. However, we will be back Lord willing and will hopefully be and go enjoy more of the hotel amenities at that time.

We were shocked at the condition of the hotel. It appeared not to have been renovated in decades. The exterior and interior in no way resembled the photos displayed on hotels.com. "False advertising" is an apropos rating for this property. We were on a bereavement trip, with no idea how long we would need to be in Sarasota, so we had booked the room for a week. Not being able to tolerate more than one night there, we checked out the next morning. We will be requesting a substantial refund.

just wanted to share a bit of feedback. It might be helpful if staff could be a bit more welcoming upon arrival — as first impressions matter and customer service sets the tone for the experience. Also, I noticed that access to the elevators doesn’t seem to be limited, and it appears that anyone can enter. If these are meant to be exclusive to hotel guests or members, perhaps some additional security or clearer restrictions could be put in place. Thank you for your attention to this.

This hotel is a good value considering its location on the edge of downtown. It’s a little older but well maintained with a pool, a friendly staff and a solid complimentary breakfast.

The hotel is centrally located. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The free breakfast was good and offered several types of food. The room was clean. But, the furniture was outdated and worn out. It could do with freshening and new furniture. It was a good place to stay. But would be even better if the rooms were updated.

Room was good Ac unit leaked water into the room. So carpet was wetby the unit.we worked around it. We were there for 3 nights. Morning breakfast was ok. One annoyance. Both milk dispensers were broken. When bought to their attention, they just swapped it for another broke dispenser.

Stayed here because it was cheap and a good location. The first room I got faced the main road and was much too loud. I had to pay extra for a room on the rear. They have really old noisy air conditioning units that I had to turn off to sleep. Clean but very shabby. Staff were nice and friendly.
