Stayed 3 nights and thermostat didn't work properly. I would still stay at this hotel as it is the nicest and cleanest in Saskatoon. The front desk staff were great and compensated for the thermostat difficulty. Nice to stay close to the river and great view of the city and river! The lounge looked fun we didn't get a chance to check it out.

Clean, cozy, convenient! I stayed at the Alt Hotel recently (Oct 2025) for 3 nights. The room was very clean and the bed was cozy. I was attending a conference that was housed at the hotel, so staying at the hotel was convenient. I loved the location - it sits across the street from the Remai Museum and river (which allows for beautiful morning walks/runs), and was walking distance to many restaurants/bars. My only two opportunities for improvement would be the shower and the speed of completing a front desk request. The showers were not designed great, there is no place to put your products. I called the front desk in the morning for a iron (mine was not working) and they took too long to bring it up. I ended up having to leave and go with a different outfit. Those two issues were super minor and would not prevent me from staying at the hotel again. I highly recommend!!

Beds are comfortable rooms are small they look a lot bigger in the pictures. Felt like I was in a fish tank And there is no drawers to put any of your stuff. The Parkade underneath is $20 a day, but you can’t even open your car doors without banging another person’s car it’s so confined. With the limited parking space in the general area, they shouldn’t be a charging extra $20 a day for guests. There was no instructions for the complementary breakfast I seen one person with breakfast outside of their room. When it comes to checking in or out the elevators are in use by housekeeping so you have quite the wait when you’re trying to check out. I’ve stayed at finer establishments for less I will not be back and will not recommend. The staff are great but the location is not safe to go for a eav walk I was informed by locals of activity in the area NOT warned by staff and I feel that if it’s an unsafe neighbourhood that they should be mentioning that to travellers. Also, if you’re booking a place it would be nice if you knew ahead of time that they were doing window cleaning throughout the day. Nothing like planning a little rendezvous with your husband who’s working in the general area and then being told there’s gonna be men outside of the room on the other side of the window.

I always enjoy staying at the alt hotel. It is in a lovely and lovey part of Saskatoon , an easy walk from downtown, Broadway or the university and right across from theatres and the Remai. It is clean and friendly- and I like Bokeh.
