The reception/host welcomed us like old friends. She clearly loves the property and guests. You should definitely consider staying here if you like history and have an open mind for the opportunities an old property offers. I had the best nights sleep I had during my 10 days of traveling. Bisbee restaurants and some businesses are closed during the week so plan for that if you are not a weekend traveler. Skip St Elmo and go to Gene’s. We’re birders so we used Bisbee as a jumping off point. By Thursday the businesses were starting to revive and we spent an awesome am exploring and supporting them. Not forgetting that the is a review of the lodging, it was super easy to get into the building and room with the codes provided in advance. The host carried guests suitcases up the stairs for them and had great knowledge of the town and restaurants. Will stay there again when I return.

This is a beautiful boutique property with some really fun features. We stayed in the Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra room that had big posters over the beds of their mug shots. The room was huge, very well decorated and had a lovely patio off the bedroom. The property was immaculate. It’s walking distance to everything in the historic area. Would definitely stay here again.

What a cool place to stay! Great history, comfortable beds, great heat! and fun amenities. The hostess who greeted us was wonderful and even took the time to look up some information for me. If I could make a couple of suggestions to just up the comfort a little more: comfortable, higher chairs in the lobby and at the table (Room 6). Turn the mat the other direction so when you get out of bed, your feet are pushing against the grain rather than with it (it scrunches up). Larger TV or sitting area that is located closer to the existing TV. The picture is ok, but in today's world we need to read text on the TV and that was difficult. Oh, we know how tough it is to refurbish an old building, but if an outlet could be installed in the bathroom, that would be great. Overall, just a fun, comfortable experience and we would stay again!

The room was very clean, was a very fast and streamlined check-in and check-out process that is 100% the fastest we've ever encountered. Having the PIN numbers to the doors texted to us was extremely convenient and the staff was very helpful. The location of the Block is also very central for most Bisbee needs, will definitely consider them again for any future visits.

The hotel has a tiny lobby and it is self check-in. There was a staff member to make sure everyone got what they needed at check-in. We stayed in Room 1. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable! The bathroom is really small and pretty old, and there is barely any useful counter space or a spot to put toiletries. The closet was lacking hangers. The rug could have used an update. It was cold when we entered, but the room temperature can be changed by remote. A flat screen TV with multiple streaming channels is available. Parking is available on the street or across the street in a small lot. It felt safe to park outside.
