Surprisingly good than I expected. Maybe because I’ve been hurt so much by the hotels in the US with the same price. Location is good, convenient to Chinatown, restaurants, grocery store, and even pharmacies. Very clean, staff and friendly and professional.

The Carlton City is one of my favourite places in Singapore as someone who visits regularly for work. Excellent hotel, and the staff are always fantastic, location is excellent. I would (and have) recommended this to many people who agree. However, next time I go there (which will be soon) i will be sure not to book it through Expedia. My experience with expedia has left such a bad taste, my company now will not book any travel through them. I was lied to, and it was assumed

The room was clean and large.staff were very professional and service was very good.the only downside was the aircon was not so cold & max coldest setting on the thermostat is only 21.5 deg c.MRT station is just 3minute walk.takes about 50 minutes from Changi using MRT,there is a 24 hours supermarket across the street & lots of food/restaurants around the hotel.maxwell hawker center is about 10 minute walk.did’nt try the breakfast @$40/pax is very expensive.around 4 or 5 bakeries within 200 meter radius.

First time here and the room appears new and renovated. The housekeeping and concierge is great. The room came with a bathtub. At the check in counter was attended to by Jenna and she is really nice and also she was able to provide me with a late check out (at 1 pm instead of the usual 12 noon check out timing). The location is great, surrounded by plentiful of dining options without the need to drive out. The complimentary parking is great as well as they allowed multiples entry and exit, just need to remember to get the parking coupon before exiting. However due to the plentiful of dinning options just nearby there was hardly any need to be driving out. The room has a nice sea view at the far horizon. The TV itself has a Chromecast and hence allows you to just cast your Netflix shows onto the TV easily.

I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent four-day, three-night stay at your property. Unfortunately, several aspects of my experience fell significantly below the standards expected of a business hotel at this price point. **1. Room Temperature Issues** Throughout my stay, the room temperature was consistently maintained at an uncomfortably low 19–20°C, despite my repeated requests on three separate occasions to adjust it to a more reasonable 25°C. The inability to resolve this issue not only caused discomfort but also affected my well-being. **2. Substandard Room Service** On my first evening, I ordered room service, and the quality was deeply disappointing: - The bread appeared stale, possibly past its expiration date. - The soup was watery and unappetizing. - The tray provided was visibly unclean. For a hotel catering to business travelers, these lapses in basic service and cleanliness are unacceptable. I trust you will investigate these matters and take corrective action to prevent similar issues for future guests.

We stayed here for two days, and we were in the heart of downtown. We were able to walk everywhere and see all the sites within approximately 30 minutes. Highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely loved the filtered water in the room and the rooftop bar!
