Country Villa Kalimera is a newly restored traditional stone-built farmhouse with a cliff pool, jaw-dropping terrace views, tree-covered dining areas & a big garden. With breathtaking landscape and wide-open spaces, we are a place to explore safely.
The cottage is secluded & quiet, yet only an 8-min drive from Skopelos town & a 10-min drive from the closest beach. Country Villa Kalimera is ideal for people looking for a private and peaceful getaway in an authentic setting.
MAIN DESCRIPTION
The interior and surrounding property are perfect for families with children, couples looking for a romantic escape, or a group of friends getting together for a reunion.
The house is surrounded by a vast fenced garden that displays a 100-years-old BBQ, hammocks, sunbeds, and many chairs and tables to sit either in the sun or under the shade of an olive, fig, almond, pomegranate, or lemon tree.
The rural area around is scenic and ideal for long walks and mountain biking. Your own/rented vehicle is essential to move around the island. The closest beach is 10 min drive and the most iconic beaches are 15-20 min drive away. Close by, there are several ancestral mountain trails that lead to Skopelos town within a short walking distance downhill.

Upon entering the front door at Country Villa Kalimera, you immediately feel the country quality of the house. The stone-built fireplace dominates the living room, as does the lofty wood-beamed roof that houses a spacious loft area on one side.
The loft is reached by a steep spiral staircase and can sleep two persons on the double bed, although the best feature of the loft is the door leading to a roomy terrace/sunning area.
The views are lovely, facing east to the sea and the island of Alonissos and south toward the Stafilos Valley. This spot boasts the most stunning sunrises from which the house derives its name, Kalimera, meaning 'good morning' in Greek.
The loft and double bed area communicate visually with the living room underneath.
The living room is furnished with traditional built-in sofas (which can be used as two single beds) and a coffee table in front of the fireplace. It is open plan to the country-style kitchen, which has terracotta tiled flooring and pretty blue accents. A spacious wooden dining table sits in the middle of the room. On one side of the kitchen, there is a door to the master bedroom and on the other a door to the bathroom.
The spacious master bedroom is furnished with an antique wardrobe, double bed, and an en-suite w/c shower room.
The house offers all modern amenities respecting its traditional style.
