We made our reservation for three people in the room but there were only two bath towels. There was a king size bed and a sofa bed but they didn’t provide a blanket for the sofa bed. Thus, we had to ask for a bath towel and a blanket.

Upon arriving we were immediately disappointed on the unkept structure and premises. Cons: There was debris everywhere. The facility smelled of drugs, the carpets had massive deep stains throughout, the room fixtures are falling apart. The swimming pool is unusable as the foundation is cracked and flaking into the water. Pros: The hot breakfast with multiple options The beds/pillows were comfortable and the linens were clean The hotel was surprisingly quiet The staff is friendly and welcoming We have stayed at many comfort suites and this particular one has deterred us from staying at another one for quite some time.

This place is discussing, rooms smelled like mildew (mold). Carpets are dirty filthy. The hotel need to be shut down for renovation.

Unfortunately, the elevator and the fitness room as well as a pool were out of service for my stay which was not advertised. In addition come time for bed time I discovered ants were crawling on me on the bed. The Night Shift supervisor was gracious enough to switch Me to another room at 1 AM so I applaud her wonderful customer service however, after I checked out, I was back on my trip I received a phone call asking why I had access to two rooms for some reason. The daytime clerk was furious about this. I was traveling alone, so there was no way I could use two rooms by myself and I had no reason to go back to the original room. I was hoping to leave a good review overall, but the only good point was a Night Shift clerk the owner or front desk daytime clerk is a little bit vindictive unfortunately

Elevator inoperable, hallway glass window shattered, indoor pool water was green, room toilet was loose, bathroom sink faucet was loose, brown/red stain on comforter, fire extinguisher certification expired over one year, visible water damage on ceiling in bathroom, moldy bagel served at continental breakfast, ketchup/blood on stairwell handrail, trash strewn all around exterior of hotel, bathroom sink would not drain. I have pictures. Worst hotel.

The pool was disgusting, elevator “out of order” ceiling tiles falling down, and the smell of marijuana so strong you could get a contact high. I addressed the problem with the manager who offered no solution other than “if you don’t like it, you can leave.” My family and I had driven over 30 hours and could not safely find somewhere else to go last minute and had no choice but to stay. There was so much activity outside the room that we felt we needed to barricade the door. We still felt incredibly unsafe and ended up leaving in the middle of the night. I have contacted the police for the illegal drug activity and hopefully this place gets shut down for good.

Good Location

It appeared the hotel was under a lot of repairs. The elevator was out of service and they offered to move us to the first floor but we said we were ok with the stairs since we only had an overnight bag. So they “upgraded” our room. The hallway walls were being prepped for paint and the carpet in the halls was worn and buckled in places making it a trip hazard. Window seals were compromised so the windows were foggy. Curtains were in need of attention or replacement. But the rooms and overall hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and nice. Location was noisy with cars and motorcycles racing in the street but the location of the hotel seemed to be in a safe and more upscale area with many other hotels, shopping, and places to eat. I think we just caught them in the middle of repairs.

This hotel smelled like mold, the elevator didn’t work, and it was just overall dirty. I not staying there once I found out the elevator didn’t work because I had a handicap person with me, but all hotels in the area were booked due to a Notre Dame game. Trying to get the handicap person and all the luggage up three flights of steps was ridiculous! I was offered a king size bed on floor level, but there was four people so that wouldn’t wor. Later, I read that they had rollaway beds, but I was never offered. I spent two hours (already 3am) on the phone looking for another hotel couldn’t find one decided to sleep in my clothes and left first thing in the morning.
