The overall condition of the room wasn’t great. It looked dirty, carpet was filthy and it was generally in need of some attention. That said, the bedding and towels were clean and the bathroom had been cleaned well. There was a lot of noise resulting in me being woken multiple times throughout the night. The heating/air con control screen was broken meaning that I couldn’t control the temperature myself. I had to go to reception twice to ask them to change it on the main control panel. Parking is extra which is a bit cheeky for an out of town hotel. I personally wouldn’t stay again but it served a purpose for that night.

We had a nice one night stay here. It has everything you expect of a Holiday Inn but the breakfast was much nicer than most. It was a hot cooked breakfast served buffet style with plenty of options. The room was large and quiet with a comfy bed.

The parking could be better, always difficult to park. I don’t think you should have to park when you are staying at hotel.The room was clean but could do with a refurb. Breakfast could have been better (no bacon available )

Parking at hotel was atrocious. Paid £7 to park car on a kerb in the car park as no spaces available. Will not book this hotel again due to the poor parking availability. Breakfast was nice albeit a bit chaotic as the food area is quite small.

Short stay hotel

From checking in to checkout the service was excellent. In particular Gemma on reception was very helpful. Very busy hotel with a lot of children staying. As long as you don’t mind noise in the restaurant area it’s an ideal hotel for staying over for one night.

We enjoyed a very warm and friendly welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We liked the simple but delicious, hot and quickly served dinner menu. Breakfast was self service so again quick and hot and very tasty which suited us as we were keen to eat and get on our way. On arriving home I realised that I had left some belongings in the room, after a quick call to the hotel these were posted to me within a couple of hours and at a very reasonable cost. we were a mum and teenage daughter travelling but I would say that the hotel has a great, slightly separate, dining area for families with young children which had toys, high chairs and a tv showing Peppa Pig. I really would highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel to stay in prior to our cruise. Our room was quite small but we made it work. On site restaurant was very good, and breakfast included with our stay was pretty good. Over all would not hesitate to stay here again.
