The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The room was fine, but I feel like it could’ve been a little bit cleaner. The bed was not very comfortable. Overall not a bad stay! Good for the price!

It was a nice property only thing i didn't like was they had construction going on behind the building with bright lights that even with curtains shut they still came through loud trucks running back and fourth all night as well

If you just need a cheap and okay place to spend one night, go for it. The breakfast was nothing to brag about, and honestly I’m not sure the sheets were changed after each guest (but I told myself they were and moved on). There was construction going on right next to the hotel. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but if you can’t sleep with loud noises, this might not be the best choice. The construction was happening day and night. Luckily, no one in my group had trouble sleeping. The staff was super nice! They do charge a $50 deposit, but I got it back without any issues.

Overall the property was decent for the amount paid. It look like they are in the mist of renovating. When I was there they was paving the parking lot and it was a lot of construction going on around the property that cause me to not sleep that well. Was kind of disappointed that they didn’t have a pool(working pool). But I’ll definitely go back. I love Pontoon Beach.

They are tearing out the 270 on/off ramps literally 20 feet from the guest rooms. The construction was 24/7. No sleep as they break up concrete at 2am and have bulldozers running back forth at 3am. Beep Beep Beep. They should definitely have a notice when booking that there will be construction all night long right outside your window. You WILL hear it and you WILL feel it. What you wont do is sleep.

“Deposit” that was not supposed to be charged according to Expedia. Bed sheets had nasty stains, no actual blankets. (Only sheets) Only two VERY thin pillows per bed. Very BRIGHT landscape light shined right in window, even with curtain closed it was bright. Came prepared to swim with kids, only to find out pool was “out of service”. Only good thing was the A/C. Will NEVER stay here again! With the deposit, I would have stayed in the middle of St. Louis cheaper!

Comfortable and affordable stay

Both people I interacted with at the front desk were very kind and helpful. I did not see an elevator anywhere, but maybe we missed it. The heat was on full blast when we entered our room even though it was 90 degrees outside which was pretty uncomfortable and frustrating at first, however the room cooled down quickly with the AC. Each bed only had two pillows and they were small and flat so be sure to bring your own. The free breakfast was tasty and the room was clean and generally comfortable, overall this was a good experience for the price.
