Disappointing

This is a new hotel, however only one elevator was working. Unacceptable for the size and amount of guests that were there. The free breakfast is terrible. Poor selection. Not enough staff. Not enough seating for guests. And not large enough space. The shower heads in the shower are also terrible. It’s unfortunate because we booked this hotel because it was new. Won’t be staying there again.

First night there was a loud dog next door and barked constantly. There was a door between the two rooms and noise penetrated it very easily. Not like a solid wall.

My last time staying here

There was a t-shirt hanging on the back of the bathroom door from a previous guest. There was no shampoo or body wash, just empty containers bolted to the wall. If you’re a belly sleeper the beds are terrible, a beat down… I call them banana beds because you’re bent up like a banana. Sadly this was my last stay at this specific Microtel, usually they’re VERY clean and well maintained.

Our room was near elevator and was noisy very early in morning. Front desk staff could hve been friendlier, was brusk. Cleaning staff were lovely and friendly. Pool was good but few jets working in hot tub.

I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub and was extremely disappointed to learn when I got there that the pool and hot tub had been closed for maintenance/repair. It had been closed for some time as they were redoing the pool area flooring but yet no one communicated this until I was already there. I paid the same price as I always do with those amenities and felt I should have been comped or discounted for not having the service I specifically booked for.
