The overall cleanliness of the property was sub-par. Our pillows smelled bad. Not the pillow covers - But the pillows themselves. It was not communicated to us that we had to ask for our room to be cleaned. The area was convenient for us in terms of location but it's not a nice area. There are people living in tents and the area, in general, is dirty. It was nice having a restaurant/lounge in the hotel and the food was good.

Disappointing

The toilet was filthy, the hair dryer didn’t work, wifi was unavailable and there was hair on the shower walls. It was disappointing. The room was spacious. This is an older hotel that is showing it’s age. I paid for the hotel room through hotels.com. The hotel charged me again for the room and has not responded to my request to fix it yet.

The cleanliness of the room was questionable. They had stains on the lamp shades, Not sure how that even happens. My daughter found garbage in the drawers that was not ours so that tells me the cleaning service needs improvement. It was extremely noisy. Weird dripping noises and it sounds like a lot of street racing might take place nearby. Homeless camps are also within walking distance which is unnerving. I’ve stayed at a lot of La Quintas and this is probably the worst Location we’ve stayed at.

I had planned a trip over to this hotel to see my cousin who was dying and the weather along I5 was just not safe and I called the day before to cancel and they wouldn’t allow it due to hotel policy. Even called management at motel and she declined. Lost 400.00 cash and why I don’t understand??? Why is it a policy to no be able to cancel? The day before?

The property was clean and well maintained. On our second night, there was a fire alarm. Guests evacuated and fire department came. But there was no staff presence and no communication. We all just stood around and then went back to our rooms. Kinda weird.

Nice for a quick trip, but……

Hotel was nice and clean. The location was fairly easy to get to, but really pay attention to the road signage. Parking lot was somewhat confusing to get around, but not too bad. The rooms were quiet for the most part, and well kept. The room door had a large gap that felt uncomfortable to see and we constantly were ensuring it was closed tightly. The hotel was full, and the wifi was non-existent. That was a bummer as all the services on the television required us to sign in to access them. Overall, not a bad stay, but it could have been a little more amenable.
