This is an old and venerable Hotel one of the first western-style hotels in Tokyo established in 1890, the current building I believe is the third Hotel on this location. That being said it has a lot to live up to and does so honorably. Although the building itself is dated, the service and amenities more than make up for it. Best of all is the location, this is the center of Tokyo, major Transit Hub nearby right on the park Clean safe walkable neighborhood. I had a wonderful stay, looking forward to my next visit in 2 weeks. Thank you Imperial Hotel Tokyo!

From the moment we stepped foot onto this property, until the moment we departed. 5 star service. Very warm welcome, efficient check in, bellboy escort to our room and a very well done introduction of all room amenities. Beds are extremely comfortable and the linens, and particularly the pillows first class. Fresh pajamas delivered daily, room service and cleaning excellent. Bathroom was fully stocked with very useful amenities, tooth brushes with toothpaste, hair brushes, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, razors with shaving gel. Immediate response to request for additional mineral water. They brought it within 10 minutes of our request. A lovely bakery and separate diner for breakfast. My husband enjoyed blueberry pie. Breakfast all fruit and eggs were very fresh. We would definitely return and highly recommend.

The hotel location is excellent. If you want to experience Japanese hospitality, this hotel will be a great option. It is a grand hotel in size, good for banquet arrangement as well. We enjoyed our stay and happy to recommend it to others.
