Absolute Gem in Venice

Staff were friendly and professional, going out of their way to offer advice on things to do and where to go to make the most of your stay. Restaurants near in the back alley were delicious and prices much better than at restaurants on the water.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Venice. Mere steps from the Grand Canal and St Marks but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator but the staff are happy to carry bags!

The check in was pretty simple but the receptionist offered us to switch from out terrace room toman1st floor(which was actually on the second floor) room because of our luggage. We agreed but after going into our new assigned room we decided to go back and ask for our original room because the room did not have a view and it was going to rain the next few days. She said No I cannot help you. We then scanned the room and found that one of our white towels was stained by some brown substance, the comforter was dirty and the remote had some strange chunky stuff on it. Great location but will not ever stay again.

The property is great. I wish there was an elevator. But they did carry our luggae to the top floor. Shower stand was small. But everything else was great.

Cómo la mayoría de hoteles en Venecia, su infraestructura es vieja. Sin embargo, las camas son pésimas que para mí es lo más importante. No sólo porque dormimos en dos camas sencillas juntas, sino porque el colchón y las almohadas eran duras y viejas. Tiene una excelente ubicación a 3 cuadras de la plaza de San Marco y el personal es amable.

The location is really close to the tourist attractions and water ports for transportation making it very easy for those arriving or leaving. There is a walkway along the water full of restaurants where you can eat and enjoy the sunset by the water, mind you it is also quite pricey. The staff are kind and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and even when leaving Venice, the hotel staff gave directions and the best way to travel for your money. The hotel is clean. There is a wheelchair lift for those who need it. The room was clean, bed comfy and shower water pressure was good. The hotel doesn't have a refrigerator so if you needed to keep drinks cold you could not. This hotel has free water at the front desk for you to fill a cup to drink from or your own bottle. The A/C worked good. Overall it was a good stay.

Good location

This hotel is well located, staff was pleasant and the room was clean. Two things to note this hotel does not have an elevator/lift and the ac was just ok. The room was a bit warm. The windows opened and there was cool breeze. They have a restaurant for breakfast unfortunately our schedule didn’t allow time to sample the food.

Great hotel! Rabu was excellent!!! He went beyond to make our experince very satisfying and educational. He arranged a pick up for us with a water taxi, met us at the dock and walked us to the restaurant. Others not so much. no elevator. Very closed to everything.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Al Nuovo Teson. The location was great. It was just a couple minutes away from the piers and just a short distance from Piazza San Marco. The staff member that checked us in was very friendly and made us feel welcome. He also gave several great suggestions for things to do in the area. Our room was clean and quite comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
