Have stayed at this property times. This was the first time since renovations. Arrived for our 1 night stay at 11am. Room was not ready which we understood. By 2pm still nothing. We had dinner plans at 5 and needed to start getting ready. I offered to upgrade or pay extra for any available room and still nothing. Finally 3:45 I asked to speak to a manager who miraculously found us a room. It was totally unacceptable.

Our first impression was excellent as check in was very pleasant and fast. Property area is well kept despite being very large in size. We did enjoy all the bunnies around the property during early morning/ early evening hours. Our encounter with all staff members was very pleasant. However, we were very disappointed with room 3410 as it is not very well kept. A/C unit not working 1st night. Maintenance quickly fixed it only that on the 3rd night it was not working again. We did use the ceiling fan which made summer night a little less painful. There is a need to attention to detail especially in the cleaning aspect. ie; carpet, bathroom sink/ shower. Chipped counter tops, paper towel holder is an embarrassment, and pots/pans are in terrible conditions. You should clarify that your rooms are on an angle ocean/pool view. Pool deck needs pressure washing immediately. Pool and jacucci floor is stained making the pool area look dirty. We did see the pool guy clean the pool/take the sand out early every morning. We thought that it was only our room but room # 3316 felt short as well to our expectations. Felt embarrassed with mother whom we gifted the stay to. We hate to give a bad review but otherwise you won’t know that these issues need to be fixed. Regret not knowing that the 50 million dollar renovation to your property had not reached this bldg yet.

Excellent property

Great property in a good location on the Hutchinson Island beach. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. Pool and restaurants onsite are convenient. Good service, though we were not allowed to check in until the very last minute even though we arrived two hours prior.
