When I checked into my room there was this weird odor that hits you as soon as you walk in. No pillowcases on the pillows, no remote for TV, no garbage can, no soap, no cups. Was super dirty people yelling all hours of the night. The odor got to me really bad that it made me sick. Thank gosh it was only for one night and I had a friend bring me some room freshener that masked it for the time being.

The property is really remote dark, out of the way area. I thought my navigation was faulty until I finally saw light at the end of the unlit, two lane, out of a horror movie stretch of land. The room and beds were clean, however, there was only a single face towel, no bath towels, no wash cloths, or floor mat, no trash can, no phone, no soap, or shampoo& conditioner, or facial tissue, etc., as we've grown to expect. And I didn't see the free "breakfast", and I checked out about 8AM so I could not have missed it. When I walked down the stairs to ask for help (there was no phone in the room Although they advised 'free local calls', I was given 2 wash cloths and two bath towels and one floor mat.

I am disabled & hav a service dog...there are alot of great employees that are caring, that make me feel appreciated & that go out of their way to help in anyway possible! Barbie, Lala, Samara, Dena & Maria are all amazing people that go above & beyond for whatever the guests need! Not all motels or less expensive places are like that! I need hot water every day & these ladies would take my thermos & make me a pot of hot water & bring it back to me full & with a smile!! It doesn't get better than that!! Thank you for being soo kind & making me feel welcome ladies!! ❤️ I just recommend you avoid going to the office late at night or when this other very angry person is working...I think their name is Taji or Taj...fairly short black hair with some tiny braids...she is african american...I think she just hates her job or something...I have tried several times to ask for things or to get hot water for my breathing machine but she just yelled at me every time I have gone to the office while she is supposedly working...she yelled at me for asking for hot water & for towels which one of the other workers had told me to check back later at 9:45pm because they were drying...but when I went back to pick up the hot water the other worker made for me 30 minutes earlier & said to check back when I came to pick up the water..the towels should be done then but Taji freaked out on me for asking for either thing just because she was counting the till! I had no way of knowing so just avoid h

Overall property needs attention...the first room lock did not work. The second room they switched me to was not cleaned the third room "front desk went and checked and said it was clean...the refrigerator had never be even cleaned it was filthy not to mention there was food showing on the floor under the door. Dead.bugs on the window sill and dirty be behind the door... I believe people are living there so rooms are limited for others. The desk clerk was.very nice but she told me if I wanted towels I would have to come back they were being laundered.... House keeping had already gone for the day so no one was around to address my concerns. I've stayed in the past and never had a problem. So this is now off my list of budget hotels to stay at... Desk clerk was gracious enough to give me a refund...

Ive stayed for several days now & everything has been very pleasant rooms are spacious & clean...property is well kept, everyone has been nice just make sure you have plenty of toilet paper...I was told I had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper when I realized I was out in this room!! Evidently there is no one to bring a roll at 6-7am!! Kinda inconvenient when uou really need a roll!! I have to say Samara is the absolute best..always cheerful & willing to help with anythjng & follows through with everything she says!! She is the kind of employee I would want working for me!! Samara made sure I was able to get hot water to make my special drink throughout the day...she was happy to fill my thermos with boiling water & that made my unexpected extended stay as great as any 5☆ vacation Ive been on!! Samara made my stay very pleasant & her positive attitude warmed my heart...La la was also cheery & kind...I would recommend this place to any traveler or even local in need of a place to stay...this is where I will stay on all my future trips!! Stores & restaurants are all close & beaches arent far at all!! Thank you forbeverything Samara...you deserved your promotion & hope you continue to climb the ladder of success!!

The key cards I was given wouldn't work even after they made a 2nd one so if I had to go anywhere I had to ask the desk clerk to let me back into my room with their master key. I wouldn't think most rooms had that problem but mine did. The TV wouldn't work and I checked to make sure everything was connected properly. Other than those issues everything else was fine.
