Hotel Alter Wolf was beautiful. The area around the hotel was walkable and felt very safe. The Wolfsburg castle was a short walk away and we spent a lot of time there. My main downside is that there was not a refrigerator or coffee machine in the rooms

We get what we pay for. The hotel has seen better days. But was in a good working condition. Very good parking. The key boxes gave not only me a bit of a challenge. Two other guests arriving around the same time as me also had a bit of a challenge to figure thing out.

Man fĂŒhlt sich sehr einsam in dem Hotel. Leider haben wir GetrĂ€nke vergessen und wollten diese noch im Hotel dann holen, sowas gibt es ja ĂŒblicherweise in einem Hotel. Bei der Buchung haben wir auch in der Beschreibung gelesen, dass dort ein Restaurant vorhanden ist. Leider war dies nicht der Fall. Das Restaurant ist seit Ewigkeiten geschlossen. Man hat keine Menschenseele gesehen. Selbst der Checkin verlief kontaktlos. Wir haben uns mehr Personal gewĂŒnscht und auch wenigstens einen GetrĂ€nke oder Snackautomaten. Es gibt aber auch etwas positives. Die Suite war sehr groß. Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern genug Platz. Sauber war es auch. Wir wĂŒrden es allerdings nicht nochmal buchen.

Da es mein 4. Aufenthalt im Alten Wolf seit 2018 war kann ich Preise und Leistung gut einschĂ€tzen. Bei den letzten Aufenthalten war immerhin noch das FrĂŒhstĂŒck inklusive und es gab eine Rezeption mit Menschen. Inzwischen erfolgt das Ein- und Auschecken vollstĂ€ndig ohne Personal. Den erforderlichen Code fĂŒr den SchlĂŒsselautomaten hatte mir Expedia nicht zugestellt, so dass ich diesen nur ĂŒber einen Anruf erhalten habe. Die Zimmer sind wie schon seit Jahren sehr verwohnt, daher ist der Preis ohne verfĂŒgbares FrĂŒhstĂŒck deutlich zu hoch. Die Fugen in der undichten Duschwanne mĂŒssen dringend von Schimmel befreit werden. Positiv ist immerhin das kostenfreie Parken auf dem GelĂ€nde.

Receptionen var stĂ€ngd nĂ€r vi kom klockan 21.45, trots att den enligt sms/e-mail skulle vara öppen till klockan 22.00. Inga tydliga instruktioner om hur man skulle komma in pĂ„ hotellet och fĂ„ nyckel. Är man inte tysksprĂ„kig Ă€r det lĂ€tt att ge upp. NĂ€r vi vĂ€l fĂ„tt nyckel via en kod vid den lĂ„sta entrĂ©dörren var det svĂ„rt att hitta hotellrummet eftersom rummen Ă€r ologiskt och bristfĂ€lligt numrerat. Rummet hade en gammal och smutsig heltĂ€ckningsmatta och rummet var ofrĂ€scht.

Gute Lage am Park - Zustand bescheiden.

Sehr gĂŒnstig und ĂŒberaus in die Jahre gekommen. Zwei Zimmer gebucht, nur ein SchlĂŒssel im SchlĂŒsselsafe hinterlegt. Das konnte gelöst werden innerhalb von ca. 20 Minuten - dennoch Ă€rgerlich. Lage am Park jedoch ist herrlich.

Wir verbrachten mit 7 Personen nur eine Nacht im alten Wolf. Der Vermieter war ĂŒberaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Mutter sollte zuerst im Nebenhaus ĂŒbernachten, weil wir fĂŒr sie ein Einzelzimmer gebucht hatten. Da meine Mutter 82 ist, war ihr die Übernachtung fernab von uns nicht so recht. Und so wurde doch noch schnell eine Lösung gefunden, dass auch sie im HauptgebĂ€ude ĂŒbernachten konnte. FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet war sehr lecker und umfangreich mit Obst, Joghurt, Croissants etc.
