This house was fabulous and perfect for our large family. Everything we needed was all at the house, from the large kitchen to all of the bedrooms with bathrooms. The large dining table was a nice way to have our family dinners every night, with lots of talk about the days adventures.This house was ideal for 14 adults and 4 little ones. If I could give more than 5 stars for this house, I would, and we are planning on coming back next year.

The house was fabulous and just what we needed for our family who likes their “space” but also loves coming together to share our thoughts and happenings of our lives. We especially appreciated the LARGE dining table, allowing everyone to eat together at the same time! (Also gathering for fun, laughter and game playing). The kitchen was delightfully large, allowing more than one cook at a time and those who just wanted to watch while enjoying conversing with family. The bedrooms were beautifully arranged, the mattresses were comfortable for a great night sleep! Overall, the house was extremely clean, spacious with beautiful views and the amenities (AC, washer/dryer, bathrooms! dishwasher) were appreciated. I, as the matriarch of the family loved meeting Nathan, the owner. It was nice to put a face and have conversation with him. He made us feel very welcomed and told us to call him anytime with any questions or concerns that might arise. Overall, we had a great time and are going back next year!

The A magical family gathering spot—

Already planning our return!This house was everything we needed and more. We brought family together from all over the country, and it was the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and spend quality time.The location was ideal—close to the beach, town, and walking trails. Some of us jogged to Nubble Light, others took easy strolls along the harbor. Cold ocean dips became a daily ritual! The house itself is super spacious and well set up. The big kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our crew of 11, and when we didn’t feel like cooking, Foster’s was right down the road. The sun porch quickly became everyone’s favorite spot—perfect for coffee in the morning, reading in the afternoon, and cocktails at night with that amazing view.We’ve already decided we’re coming back next summer. Highly recommend this place for any big family trip or gathering!

Family Vacation

We are a family of 14 with ages ranging from 18 months to 75 years old.The house was perfect for our family. The large dining table was able to fit everyone around and the views of the harbor were perfect.Close proximity to the beach was great for the children 6 through 14 and adults.The rooms were good and all had air conditioning units. We completed 3 of the jigsaws that were there.The large kitchen had plenty of dishware , glasses , utensils etc.We appreciated the wagon and beach toys and chairs that were available for our stay.We all had a great time and look forward to visiting Maine again in the future.

Great York Beach house!

We have rented big beach houses before for a yearly family vacation and this house is hands down the best we have rented. Positives: views (both ocean and harbor), AC in all the rooms if needed, well stocked kitchen, quiet.

Family vacation

17 of us ages 73 to 3. We had enough bedrooms and baths to go around. The kitchen was huge. We were walking distance to the beach. Our manager was always available to answer our questions. I highly recommend.

25th Family Vacation

We had a blast on vacation this year! The house itself was wonderful. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and places to hang out. The views were fantastic and there was so much to do, as the house was in a great location! It was very clean, and having basic toiletries provided was quite nice. Nathan was very helpful with questions and concerns. Unfortunately, we had to wash a lot of dishes by hand since the dishwasher broke the first night we were there, but we survived. :) Thank goodness there was a second one, but that was a bit of a pain. The only thing we wished was different was the configuration/size of the deck. It was a bit small for all to gather on. Again, we survived and had a great time! :) I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

My family had a wonderful time. We have 4 families with 5 children, and the home was big enough for all to have separate bedrooms and gathering areas. I highly recommend staying here. In addition, Nathan the host was extremely friendly and responsive.

The perfect home, location and amenities for our annual (extended) family vacation

This was perfect for our large and growing family (17 of us!!) Everyone had space and comfort - yet we also had plenty of places to gather and hang out. The picturesque view and setting are incredible. And the proximity to the beach makes a beach day so simple and enjoyable. Nathan is a wonderful host. He’s communicative, responsive and kind. We’ve already reserved next year!

Multi generational family vacation

Our group of 17 found the property very welcoming with plenty of room to find a quiet space when needed. The kitchen facility was spacious for the multiple cooks and helpers. The children ages 5 to 10 loved the place and want to return. The location was confident to the beach and walking distance to the town. One suggestion would be to update the outside grill.

Maine Family Vacation

Our family had a great time. Our (adult) children and their children loved the house and the location. As the property description states... we were approx. 500' from York Harbor beach and it was so convenient for visiting/ using multiple times of the day. The house is older, with a lot of charm and our daughter in law (a great baker/cook) thought the kitchen was as well stocked as her own kitchen. Great spaces in the house for multiple activities. We had a great time and will definitely consider a return visit.

Magical place!

We hosted a 90th birthday party with family and this house couldn’t have been more perfect. Great location. Gorgeous views. House is comfortable, clean and well appointed. It easily accommodates a big group. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Family Vacation.

This was the perfect house for my husband and I to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren.We found it to be clean and roomy with spectacular views of York Harbor.There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 14 adults. The beds were comfortable and the water in the showers was hot.The main kitchen was so large it took us a couple of days to remember where dishes, pots and pans, silverware, utensils, etc. were.The 3 refrigerators offered ample storage space for our perishables and the huge laundry room was fully equipped with not only a washer and dryer, but several large clothes racks, an ironing board and an iron.There were plenty of rooms downstairs to spread out to do puzzles, play games, read and just sit around.There was a bedroom down stairs that opened onto the porch.This was perfect for a family member who has trouble with mobility.Outside there is a porch, a large lawn, a pier and York Harbor Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Long Sands and Short Sands. There were a few negatives.We had a problem finding a sharp knife to pare vegetables and the cupboard and closet doors tended to stick. The bureau in my room was missing nobs, which prevented me from opening most of the draws and the plug in my sink was broken.However, all the positives outweighed every single negative. Nathan, the property manager, was very responsive.He answered all the questions I texted him immediately.

Perfect for a group

Awesome Location

This house was great for our large family ages range from 2 years old to 70. The house was very comfortable and spacious it was an Inn so each room had its own bath and most rooms were very roomy. The kitchen was well equipped to the point of needing organization and probably removing some items but rather have more than too little. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked but window units were noisy. The linens including pillows can use some updating. The photos of house are accurate. It’s a step back in time regarding decorating and some fixtures. The house was very clean so that takes precedence over decor in my opinion. The house was very well equipped with towels for beach and bath toiletries blankets beach chairs and a beach wagon. Location was so fantastic we were able to walk to beach and local restaurant. We fished off the wonderful dock! All appliances worked great we made lobster and barbecued. I highly recommend this house if you don’t mind that the furniture-decorating and bath/kitchen needs updating. We will go back if we can gather our crew together again.
