Beautiful views but not great service

The views and location were incredible. Panaramic views were amazing from anywhere in the hotel and the balconies. But, the hotel was not exactly as advertised. Service was near non-existent, we did not receive a bottle of wine as promised, and the bar and restaurant that was advertised did not seem to be open. A/C in our room was not very effective. That all said, the views made up for it, and it was a nice point to take the bus to Amalfi.

Amazing quiet gem of a hotel.

A family-owned, family-run amazing Wes Anderson style hotel on a priceless cliff. Cannot believe how easy is it to take one shuttle to Amalfi, safely - no parking hassles, low stress, shuttles on the hour. Amalfi is mobbed. Also 3 miles from the Hike of the Gods entrance, above Positano. A quiet gem. Dated but in the most charming way. Wish I could retire here. Quiet, honored, off the map gem.

Clean, beautiful views, staff was helpful. A few drawbacks : was the distance to get to the ocean. The bus stop is very close so it’s not difficult but it was a high windy road daily. Breakfast was very basic, only had it once. Ac was only turned on & controlled by management (not the room) so you had to go to the main desk and asked for it to be turned on daily. Showers were also extremely small. I am 5’4 and weight about 145 and could barely fit. Other than that, good eating places nearby and people and staff were very friendly and very helpful.

That was probably the best hotel that I booked. Though it looks near Amalfi and other beaches, the road is quite long going there. Due to it’s high altitude, I had an amazing sunrise at 6:15am ABOVE THE CLOUDS! How unexpected and epic was that!!!

Pictures do not do this place justice. The whole neighborhood is all family owned businesses with three generations working in them. The hotel is full of charm and the staff treats you like royalty.

The hotel is located on a very beautiful hilltop. You can see the sea view from the balcony of the room. The staff is very friendly and patiently explains how to use public transportation. The breakfast is very delicious and the staying is very comfortable.

One of the best stays of our entire Italian trip with my wife. We booked the room with the incredible sea view and large balcony—a breathtaking view honestly and it definitely looks even better in real life than in the pictures. The staff were very friendly and communication was fairly easy in English. Luckily, the hotel was hosting a wedding that day, so we had the honor of witnessing an Italian wedding! One of our highlights was the broadly selected breakfast we had—with a sea view at the restaurant as well. Omelet, fresh bread (!!), filled croissants, yogurts, mixed fresh fruit and one of the nicest cappuccinos I had in Italy—this hotel has it all. The car drive up and down the hill to Amalfi took about half an hour and was fun, but be cautious; the street is quite narrow and only for experienced drivers. Would definitely consider this hotel again; thank you!

Amazing view off our balcony. Had a rental car and plenty of free parking. Ate next door at Restaurant Leonardo’s often. It was amazing. Unfortunatelyz, didn’t even try the restaurant in the hotel. Was charged an extra €30 upon check out and have no idea of why. This seems kinda common with my hotel bookings through Expedia. Same thing happened with a Pariw hotel a couple of months ago.

If you are looking for a place to stay overlooking the Amalfi coast, I cannot imagine that there is a better place than this! We got a room with three beds and the terrace was probably larger than the room. It was huge. The room was fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel more!!

This classic, beautiful, and well-kept hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff and grounds showed personal care and provided a wonderful experience. Near the Almafi cost area, but not busy. The views were amazing! Highly recommended.

Charming location off the beaten track

Lovely location with views across the sea (if not raining or cloudy). Charming and friendly place & staff. Could do with a little modernisation (e.g. charging points, black out blinds, tea & coffee facilities in room). Away from the hubbub so nice and quiet & relaxing. Would stay again.

Worth a stay!
