All was fine except one night blaring music from the room next door woke me up. I was able to voice my concern. The music stopped, but I was wide awake for the next 4 hours.

Clean, warm, safe, comfortable. The furnishings are mixed sets and some are a bit aged (if that matters to you). would definitely stay again. Pricey but it was homecoming weekend everywhere.

Most comfortable beds ever!!! very nice property... the vibe is a bit weird since there are permanent residents living there, roaming the property in PJs or nightgowns, even at breakfast. but once in the room, everything was fine.

Adequate with a nice staff.

Room was clean but everything except the bed clothes was dated and worn. The bathroom plumbing needed attention—sink drained extremely slowly and the bathtub spigot was 3/4 inch from the wall.

Our one bedroom 2nd floor unit (202) was nice, clean with a comfortable king size bed. The breakfast offered however was quite bad. It was from 7 to 10 a.m. When we got to the breakfast there were no muffins left, only 2 bagels, no bananas etc. We advised staff that there were no muffins left and was advised that is all there is and there would be no refills. The breakfast was on for another 1.5 hours so all other guests were out of luck.

The staff person when we arrived seemed disinterested. The one when we left was pleasant. The bathroom was large and had separate bath and shower but the shower was way too small. The TV in the bedroom had cable while the one in the sitting room was antenna.

The whole property is old and worn out. No updated plugs for devices that need USB charging, curtain smelly, breakfast limited choice of food, super substandard. It doesn't worth the price. Don't choose this.

The shower in room 109 had black mold. We suspect that section 8 people are living in the facility. Children are running up and down the halls. Very noisy, Small children are playing in the outside area in the dirt. We had multiple people staying in our group that had similar concerns. Rooms had smell like cigarette smile and mildew. If you don’t have much money ….

It’s an old hotel that needs “love”. Everything is worn down and the decor is at least 40 years old. The carpeting in the 2nd floor public hallway is an embarrassment of stains. Minimal amenities. I expected more for my $175 for one brief night. Avoid the breakfast.

A good basic stay that could be great

The good stuff: - Checking in and out is very easy. - The staff is really nice, from the reception clerk to the maid. - The breakfast buffet - bagels, muffins, donuts, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal, waffles - is convenient, tasty, and restocked quickly. - It's great to be able to get coffee and tea any time of day in the lobby. - The beds are VERY comfortable. - The maid service is awesome. This is the first time that asking for extra towels actually resulted in actually sufficient towels. - All the room's amenities worked, including the fridge and microwave, & the hotel is close to multiple grocery stores, Walmarts and restaurants, so you can bring food in and live affordably. - The air conditioning was very good. - Overall, I felt very welcome here. Could-be-better: - In-room entertainment is lacking. The TV is basic cable - nothing streaming, not even a TV guide channel. - The Wi-Fi was spotty - not entirely their fault, since a storm knocked everything out, but also not strong enough to reliably stream a movie on my laptop. I had to use my phone as a remote hotspot. - The physical plant needs a little love. There's a gash on the base of the wall opposite the elevator on the 2nd floor. Places had chipped paint, and we had to leave one lamp plugged in because it had no on/off switch. - A second chair in the room would be nice. We had a pleasant stay, but investing in a few renovations and better in-room entertainment would easily add another star to this review.
