The floor in our room was not clean and the wardrobe was a bit wobbly! We would have benefitted from having a mirror in the bedroom and some sort of surface on which to put our toiletries by the bathroom sink. When our room was cleaned, the towels were not replaced, despite us leaving them in the shower tray. On the plus side, the reception staff were mostly very helpful, the location was quiet, and we appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks. We had to ask for help with bringing our suitcases down the steep stairs, but this wasn't a problem.

The staff went above and beyond to make the stay a great time. Had everything we needed, the hotel provides nice snacks and coffee whenever you want. Lovely location, not noisey at all, at least in the room we stayed in. Will return soon hopefully.

It is nothing fancy, but it is full of charm. I stayed in room 32. It didn’t have a grand view, but was quiet and spacious. No breakfast, no problem. The coffee machine in the lobby was great as was the coffee maker, kettle, and fridge in the room. It is surrounded by excellent cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. It was easy to walk to most attractions and central station. Though I do recommend the bike taxis. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was roomy and nice, wall finishes beautiful and upgraded bathroom but limited small towels and bath accessories. Need to let people know at booking that stairs are exceedingly steep!!

Great place to stay exactly as advertised. Had a a bad experience with one of the staff members, she was incredibly rude and very unprofessional. We checked in the morning, but our room was not available. We provided our passports and all the information that was needed. We were told that we were all set and only needed to come in for the key. Came in with our kids after being drenched in the rain. Asked for our key and there were two new people asking us to check in all over again. When I stated that I had already provided all of that information, the staff member started yelling and saying that if it was not clear that it was not the same person that had assisted us in the morning and we needed to do it again. They finally realized they made a They finally realized they made a mistake, but there was no apology for the raised voice and rude behavior. Other than that, the stay was fine and the other staff members were responsive and made our stay comfortable.
