Very small town, hotel was a little older, but well cared for and very clean. The room was comfortable. We only stayed for one night, we would stay again.

Clean and comfortable but service was terrible

Nice hotel as far as it was clean and comfortable. The person that was at the front desk was extremely rude. We asked about the pool and was told (with attitude) that it was closed. When I pointed out that when I booked it listed indoor pool and said nothing about it being closed she replied rudely “it’s closed”. I know things happen and it was really not that big of a deal but she could have been a whole lot nicer about it. She was like that with every interaction. Probably will not be back just because of the rudeness we were shown.

We had stayed at this property under previous ownership, and it was awful. We didn't realize it was the same property or we might not have chosen it. But Baymont has completely updated the rooms and it was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We would definitely choose it again. We have a dog, and the pet charge of $25 was reasonable compared with what other hotels in the area were charging. The one negative I would note is that the breakfast did not offer enough options for us, so we ate elsewhere.

Okish budget option close to Ann Arbor

If you are in the Ann Arbor area either going to the Big House or visiting the university, this might be a reasonable “budget” option. Rooms are well appointed (ours has a fridge and a microwave) and reasonably clean albeit in need of a face lift along with the rest of the common areas. Hot breakfast is served in the mornings. Location is close to the highway and Ann Arbor is a 15min drive.

Jaqueline at the front desk was aweful. There was hair all over our room slime in the restroom and the staff was constantly apologizing for that woman she walked away ignoring my son then my dad then myself. Slammed a cabinet in my dads face in front of me when he asked a question about the coffee maker and she then walked away. Never have i been treated so poorly. I feel terrible for her staff she is rotten. The blow dryer has what looked like sticky toddler fingers all over it, what looked like dog hair all over the bathroom and black dirt lines on the towel. She treats staff and company aweful. This was my son and myselfs first trip after his dad unexpectedly passed and she was our first encounter. I get people have bad days but she did this two days in a row and treated everyone including guests and staff poorly. Someone needs to speak with that woman. We will be making many more trips but will gind somplace else near or in milan because of her
