The rooms had ants the boarder on in the lobby carpet was coming up almost fell. The bathroom door was stuck my daughter could not get out the phone did not work and the pool and hot tub was dirty.

First time here. We loved the place, spacious, quiet, food options, breakfast was good as well. We did ask for extended checkout due to an afternoon dr appt upon check-in, but front desk myst not have added it. 2 phone calls and 3 timed knock at door wondering why we haven't left. Explained to front desk and she was a bit rude about it. That was our only isseu but will definitely stay again.

Check in was easy. We were able to do an early check in for $10 dollars. Once we enter the room which was a two bedroom suite we were stunned. Not the room we pictured or that was seen online. Room was disappointed. Bed was comfy was the highlight of the room. Definitely needs upgrades!

This is Ann Arbor, yet the property is a shambles. No dinner at all available, even on Fri or Sat night in their cafe. Bar not open until after 7 on a Friday night. It was closed from Tues until Thurs. that we experienced. The hot tub looked nasty, greenish water. Things in the room were so dated, I don't know where to start. Bathroom from the 50's, cracks and all.

We had a nice time, I was looking forward to soaking tin the hot tub but it was closed due to algae, and the pool looked like it had sand or it was getting algae starting on the bottom you could see foot steps where people had stepped on.

There was definitely a theme to this hotel... Maybe kind of resort-like? I haven't seen a place like this since embassy suites in the late '80s. Water features inside, nothing extravagant but still interesting.

A pleasant stay

I stay at so many hotels that I rarely write reviews anymore, but we did really enjoy this place. My kids loved the pool and the open atrium feel. Breakfast was ok as far as basic hotel breakfast goes. Staff was super friendly. Our suite was huge and pretty clean. Other guests mentioned the stale air, which we did notice in the room, but it wasn't overpowering. They were renovating many of the rooms while we were there, probably since busy season just ended.
