The staff is excellent and very courteous. The facilities are a mess. Our room was missing baseboard in the bathroom for mold and mildew to penetrate bc the wall was broken apart and it could not be cleaned, bathroom door wouldn’t shut from being painted multiple times, bathtub grout was missing and stained, hallways were dank and smelly, fire doors which were labeled “keep closed” were propped open and some broken, door to outside on side of building was not working well and the deadbolt was thrown so the door wouldn’t close, allowing unauthorized access at any time. The outside of the building was crumbling. There were cracked tiles in common areas along with carpet edge either missing or loose. Loose railing by the breakfast lounge along with loose and broken tiles on the stairs. Spa taped off and out of service. Ice maker out of service. Seriously, just take a normal look around and there is sloppy renovations and tile work, gapping toilet paper holders with paint all over them. We almost left for another hotel, but everything in the area was booked. I heard other guests complain as well. We had planned on making this hotel our home base while visiting local family. There are things that simply should not be ignored and they are being ignored. Sorry, wish I could say it was better for the sake of their hardworking employees.

The front desk clerk ahe started a few weeks earlier she was amazing. My son left sick. When we got there it was stuffy the maintenance came down our 2nd day there because we were hot all night from the ac not working. I had to reset it with the red button 7 more time before checkout. There was hair in the shower along with black mold. Room 109....im not one to complain . My son is 16 his father passed unexpectedly last month so I was in charge last minute of taking him on the mid michigan sick tour. Short on cash and didnt want any trouble.i was scared to say anything as this was only my second motel. The ataff was great but my son and i left with an allergy attack from hell. Staff was so kind. Pics of dirty barhroom mold etc if needed

Common areas such as carpet were dirty. Pool was in poor condition, spa was closed. Breakfast was barely lukewarm. No room cleaning during the four days. A/C in my room was filthy dirty which was only noticed on my last night when I got sick because of it. Manager seems incompetent

Property is pretty run down. The pullout couch in the suite had a bloody napkin stuffed in the cushions, the cushions very clearly hadn’t been lifted and cleaned under in some time. Air conditioning did not work, phone to desk didn’t work. Pool needed to be cleaned and hot tub was out of order. Breakfast and Joseph the bartender are the reasons for not rating this stay lower.

Way overpriced & bed bugs

Have stayed in dozens of hotels and this was a motel. Super expensive for the room and conditions. Child left with a rash and found bed bugs later that week at home. Disgusting.

Nice beds - bad bathroom

The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were good. However.....there was paint peeling from the rather low ceiling in the shower and some black stuff growing on the caulk. So, I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower. Also, the toilet didn't like to flush. I had to take the top off and manually lift the lever to flush. I did tell the front desk person and she wrote it down. I didn't understand why they were renting out that room with the paint peeling in the shower. It was gross.

Place was older and showed its age, few tiles broken near the food area. The breakfast was good but one burner was Definitely not as hot as the others. Was quiet except the pool was in the middle of the court and kids were loud during the day but quiet at night.
