very pleasant historic hotel in the quiet provincial town of Bain-de-Bretagne. Typical French breakfast, restaurant was OK, well used by locals on the Saturday evening, no service on Sunday and only alternative full so it was Domino's! Rooms dated but clean with modern shower room, large cubicle with hot water and drenching shower. Staff very helpful but none of them speak much English despite this being advertised as and English speaking establishment.

La chambre était tout à fait satisfaisante. En revanche très déçu du petit déjeuner. Pour 12€, on est en droit d'attendre le minimum. On est arrivé, et il n'y avait plus de pain frais, plus de viennoiseries, plus de jus d'orange. Nous avons terminé le café, il n'y en n'avait plus pour les personnes après nous. Le personnel présent n'a rien anticipé de tout ça, il a fallu réclamer, puis évidemment attendre que tout ça arrive. Mauvaise surprise du matin.

Ayant réservé un studio pour une nuit à 103€, j’ai été placé dans une chambre confort à 78€ sans qu’on m’en informe. J’ai bien entendu réglé le montant de la réservation du studio et non celui de la chambre. Après réclamation, on m’explique que le studio n’est pas disponible et que la chambre de remplacement est bien mieux que le studio. Pour compenser, on m’a offert le petit-déjeuner. J’ai donc séjourné dans la chambre 18. Matelas convenable, chambre petite, insonorisation catastrophique : on entend absolument tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir et dans les chambres voisines ! Très mauvaise expérience au final dans cet établissement (sous-classement, personne à l’accueil incompétente et insonorisation inexistante).

Peu mieux faire

Nuit du 31décembre au 01janvier. Il a fallu attendre que l'accueil trouve notre clef de chambre n°5. La chambre est propre La TV de la chambre gène l'ouverture de la salle de bain. salle de bain très exigu Le lit est très inconfortable du fait du mauvais état du matelas. A partir de 04h00 du matin Nous avons pu suivre les conversations et autres bruits d'une d'une chambre voisine. Obligation de faire moi même la police... Forte odeur de tabac au réveil (sans doute la chambre des fêtards) Petit déjeuner convenable dans une salle relativement sympa.
