As soon as we walked in our room we was hit with a horrid smell. There was mould on the celling. Mould all around the shower. It clearly had not been cleaned at all. The floors had dried mud on it. Pillows and bedding smelt like unwashed arse. We left and found alternative accommodation after an hour. The only positive thing i can say is they refunded us for the second night, this is most likey because they know what an S hole it is!!! You may think your getting a bargain but your not. I wouldnt stay here if you paid me too!!!

If you’re here for the nightlife, this bis your spot. Even as someone who wasn’t particularly, I slept fine. The staff moved me to the back of the hotel for a small fee, and with earplugs, you couldn’t hear anything. Room was never cleaned whilst I was there, but maybe because I slept in.

Terrible experience. The bars in the area play loud music until 4 AM. The windows shake so much that the sound is even louder. I changed hotels and paid much more for peace because you don't sleep there.

The staff were incredible always with every interaction. I came with 3 kids- which was probably my bad on Khaosan Road, but our room was so loud (like sooooo loud- we can handle inconveniences, this was like being next to a speaker in a night club). So we moved on the second night at 2am. We had to split into two rooms, and they were MUCH quieter, but still not quiet. This property is best suited for a backpacker type traveller who is up for 5pm to 5am parties. The roof top pool was nice, but dated.

Nice but noisy hotel

The hotel felt safe and the entrance was slightly set back from the Main Street with security at the entrance, I didn’t use the pool but it looked fine. There was a lot of noise but you are right on Khao San a very busy street- bring ear plugs! The room was clean and had all I needed.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel. Generally we have an excellent time, this time though we had a little trouble with the room being smaller, even though we had booked the same room as every other time. I see people complain about outside noise, and that noise wasnt bad at all. The noise from the neighbors was sometimes overwhelming. But nothing I can really do about that. Pool cafe attendants were amazing and very friendly.

A FUIRE !

À FUIRE !!!!!! C'est d'ailleurs ce que nous avons fait aprĂšs avoir passĂ© une nuit HORRIBLE alors que nous devions en passer 3 ! Khaosan road est la rue la plus animĂ©e de Bangkok et c'est peu dire ! C'est Ă  la discothĂšque qui mettra le son le plus fort : 122 db relevĂ©es sur le dĂ©cibelmĂštre, en peine rue ! Autant dire qu'Ă  ce niveau sonore, aucun Ă©tablissement hĂŽtelier de cette rue ne dispose de fondation suffisamment isolĂ©e. A cela s'ajoute les bruits sourds des climatisations d'anciennes gĂ©nĂ©ration et une odeur affreuse d'humiditĂ©. La rĂ©ceptionniste (trĂšs gentille) nous a proposĂ© plusieurs chambres. Nous avons optĂ© pour celle qui semblait ĂȘtre la plus calme mais nous entendions malgrĂ© tout le bruit sourd des discothĂšques. Sans parler des clients ivres qui regagnent leur chambre Ă  3h du matin dans l'indiscrĂ©tion la plus totale ! En bref, cet hĂŽtel est probablement bien pour les fĂȘtards mais absolument pas pour les autres et encore moins pour les familles ! PASSEZ-VOTRE TOUR ! Le Tinidee Trendy Bangkok hĂŽtel (une rue parallĂšle) est formidable, avec des prestations exceptionnelles et pour des tarifs quasi similaires

This housing worked for our purposes, but is definitely not for everyone. Noise from Khaosan Road is inescapable until 5am, and walking back is always an odyssey of dodging hawkers and misbehaved foriegners. If you know this street, you know what to expect. TLDR; You get what you pay for. That said, my group enjoyed our stay.
