We stayed at the Montien for one night and unfortunately were told they could not provide us with the room we had booked (king bed). This was disappointing on our honeymoon trip. The hotel was very clean and looked beautiful however. The only other thing I would say is there is very limited pool seating which wasn’t ideal either.

The staff were really welcoming and helpful, the breakfast spread was incredible and catered for all dietary requirements. The room itself was quiet, very comfortable bed (with pillow menu) and we loved the heated toilet seat in the bathroom. The restaurant downstairs called Ruenton does a brilliant Pad Thai and the service was excellent.

Great location, impeccable hotel with all the goodness that Thailand has to offer reflected in this hotel. We stayed in California suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. Staff at this hotel are amazing, nothing is too much trouble.

Beautiful renovated older hotel. Great location, nice room, great breakfast. Only issue was check in because it took over 20 minutes! Seemed an inordinate amount of time even if they were training staff. We went to our rooms 30 minutes before check out to get our luggage and they had deactivated our room keys adding another 15 minutes to get new keys get our luggage then return to check out
