I’ve stayed in this property countless times as New Buffalo is good stopover point. It’s sad but each time is a bit more disappointing. Last night the entire lobby, parking lot, hallways reeked of weed. It’s disgusting and getting out of hand.

We had booked this reservation to attend a wedding in the area. We arrived at the hotel at 1:00 PM and needed to be at the wedding venue by 2:30 PM. We were hoping to get early access to our room to Chang clothes. There was no one at the desk at anywhere near by. After about 20 minutes a maintenance worker came by and was able to find someone. This person was very rude and abrasive in telling us there was no rooms available and that under no circumstances could we get access to our room before 3:00 PM! We asked if there was a room we could change in that was not yet ready and again was told NO WAY! We ended up changing in our car! After the wedding we returned to the hotel, was greeted by a different person much more civilly and checked in. The room was clean and comfortable, but our stay was severely compromised by the experience with the first employee! We would not recommend this property for that reason!

The bathroom was not very clean. There were a man’s whiskers all over the sink. The elevator floor was filthy. Also, the night clerk when we checked in was passive aggressive. I doubt we would stay there again.

Clean room and bed. Hot shower, fluffy towels that werent scratchy. Went to a concert at 4 Winds and we were going to use the shuttle but it was an easy enough drive and felt safe coming back and parking after.
