This is supposed to be a review about "my stay". But I was charged for not being able to stay!!!!!!
After doing a reservation at 8 PM for the same night and arriving at 9:30 pm, I contacted the owners for arrangements. They did not answer any calls or messages (even though check-in was until 11pm).
I was fortunately driven to a hotel nearby by one of the kind Caucasian guests.
I genuinely discourage anyone to book anything with these guys as they have no customer service especially when they want a money transfer for bookings which is rather impossible when you are coming from a foreign country.
I'm coming from Canada and tell me how I can do a quick money transfer at 9:30 at night?

Please avoid. When you try to check in nobody opens the doors, when you try to contact nobody will answer. After you request refund from Expedia you will receive message asking to pay the deposit. AVOID: SCAMMERS!

This Service does not exist. They are scammers. I got there and there was no one to attend to me. It was after several bangings on the door that a guy came down and claimed he couldn't communicate in English. Their stupidity made me stranded and had to stay outside in the cold as there were no more accommodations available. Expedia, please this would tarnish your image if you dont cut these rogues off. Please, kindly make your investigations about these criminals, so that others will not fall victims. Sincerely, their action is too barbaric.

At this point I became suspicious that I was a victim of a phishing scam. As a result I did not get access to the p
Inside the prroperty was good. Bedroom good. Sadly expedia did not tell me i require a proff of address and ID. I was stranded for minutes asking for address to the property. I was told i can only get the details only after forwarding proof of ID and address. Also a code to enter the property was another issue. I am disappointed with how i got a text message asking me to provide my ID and proof of address before i can recieve entry access and also address to the property
I attended the Commonwealth Games and required affordable accommodations for the week. I read the previous reviews and was hesitant but had little choice. The unit was not dirty because of lack of cleaning but any dirt was due to other guests. When I arrived I tidied the kitchen, including cleaning the microwave, and the counters were dirty a few hours later. Those guests left and the kitchen was clean except for one day. The unit is set up like a boarding house - you get a room and share all other common areas, expect the suites who have their own bathroom. The cleaning person visits daily and the unit smells good when she leaves. The host was a great communicator and responded promptly-within 2 hours. The unit needs to be painted and I’m told that will be done within the next few months. Overall, my stay was okay and thankfully, I didn’t experience any of the nightmares as others as the host has tried to make improvements.
