Stayed here to get an early morning flight from Stansted airport. There is a public bus service a few minutes walk from the hotel although this is not t signposted. I used Google Maps to find out. It's much cheaper to get the bus - £3.00 - than a taxi. Amenities are very basic and rather tired. This hotel is located on a Service Area. I used the fast food dining options inside the services to take something back to my room to eat. Fire the price and an overnight stay for a flight it was OK but don't expect any luxury!

Convenient for Stansted airport and the M11.

The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and sufficiently quiet (I was concerned when I saw a number of air conditioning units directly outside my window, but their noise did not really intrude). There was a wide work-surface for anyone needing to do paperwork or use a laptop during their stay. It took me a couple of turns around the service area car park to find a space convenient to the hotel entrance. The presence of the motorway service area next to the hotel offers several fast-food options. I had the buffet “full English” breakfast at the hotel, which provided a substantial meal for £10.99 (paid in advance).
