The bathroom products ran out and weren't refilled. The room was cold and it was not easy to alter the temperature. There was a thermostat in the room but the people on Reception altered the temperature, it too a while to sort it out. In the bar, I was served a flat and off colour glass of champagne. They replaced it, however, it was disappointing to see that they thought it would be ok in the first place to serve flat, old wine at a premium price.
We were mostly disappointed that the Reception staff ordered us a taxi, which didn't turn up. We asked them to check with the taxi firm whether the time we had allowed ourselves would allow sufficient time to get to the train station. They seemed aloof and didn't seem to listen to the question. I don't believe they did in fact ask. In any case, the taxi didn't turn up. I appreciate that it's not the hotels fault if a taxi doesn't turn up. However, I asked the hotel to organise, in the belief that they would have established and trusted links with taxi companies and we could rely on them.
