A fantastic hotel with very friendly staff, it’s the fourth time we’ve stayed as the children love it. The swimming pool and spa is excellent ( you have to pay extra for this service when booking through Hotels.com which they don’t say on the website 😡) Will definitely be booking this hotel again

Waited 15 minutes just go check in. Hotels.com failed to pass on my room requirements so hotel wasn't informed. I did call the hotel direct as hotels.com did recommend. The hotel didn't do this either do wasn't happy my request was ignored twice. Apart from this the hotel was nice and relaxing the bed was very comfortable. The bath/shower combined wasnt ideal which is why I specifically asked for a walk in shower. Our room wasn't serviced due to short staffed! But we did get offered a free drink from the bar so that was ok.

I stay here every month, unfortunately, it is through necessity given its close proximity to Aztec West business area... However, beyond that good point, everything else is so disappointing. This weeks annoyance was around parking... It went up in January from £3 to £5 ... I really don't care about the size of raise but its adds to my point. As I am checking out, I request a parking ticket to allow me to exit the barriers. Instead of simply providing me with the ticket (there is a bunch of 500 right next to him), he had to remind me that there is a £50 fine for losing your original ticket... Not sure what annoys me more £50 as a fine for paying for the pleasure to use a hotels parking Or the fact that they couldn't just say "yes certainly sir, here's your ticket, have a safe onward journey"!! Every visit to the hotel has me questioning whether I should be thanking them for the pleasure of staying!!!

Our Happy Place

Once again another amazing experience Booked this as a surprise for my wife and she loved it 😊...our room was spacious clean and the fridge well stocked a nice surprise. Comfortable large bed 🛌 and spa facilities very enjoyable also the gym is small but has everything you will need .

Disappointing

The hotel is nice enough. Really busy. Spa was always packed. We didn’t realise as hotel guests that we had to pay for parking and you got a new ticket to pay each time you left and came back. If you ask at reception, they give you a pass to leave so you only pay once. In addition, I was having surgery on one of the days we stayed. We asked reception if it would be possible to get two slices of toast at 6am (required before the surgery). They said no because breakfast starts at 6.30. I asked if it would be possible to have some cereal and milk at 6am instead so there’s no cooking. They said no. Baring in mind we’d paid £20 for their breakfast. I thought this was very unaccommodating. We had room service after surgery. I only ate three bites of the steak - it was not nice.

Overall our stay was good. Food was nice and room was clean. Only issue was front desk staff were not aware of reservations and packages on our booking, which were made through a third party (hotels.com). Guessing there is a breakdown in communication somewhere

I always like staying at Aztec. I’m not keen on the area round the hotel but have no need to go exploring. The hotel is comfortable and generally very clean. My kids love the pool and the food is good.
