Tiny double room, with little space between foot of bed and wall. Tiny bathroom. Wardrobe shallow and only short hanging space. Worst feature was broken air conditioning on a warm humid night. Lift also broken but fortunately we didn’t have heavy luggage. Beware if booking through Expedia that breakfast isn’t included.

Warm welcome and speedy check in. The room was small and the bathroom tiny. Poor lighting made the room dark and the dark wardrobe without a functioning light in it made it difficult to locate anything in it. There was no ironing board or iron but the steamer worked well. Disappointingly there was no coffee machine. The toiletries smelt lovely as did the hotel upon entry. Breakfast had good choices but unfortunately my cooked breakfast was missing an item. Pleasant stay despite a few small niggles would absolute recommend staying here for the location and the excellent staff.

Lovely hotel. Just a lil slow at brekky.

Lovely hotel. Lovely front desk staff and comfy and spacious rooms. Only minor gripe was breakfast seemed a lil understaffed or just not very on it. Tables that hadnt been cleared. Waited quite a while to be seated. And ran out of coffee cups for a while. Food itself was delicious. Greay hotel planning to stay again. Just an extra pair of hands (or a more motivated pair of hands) at breakfast would make it 10 out of 10.

Great location and hotel. Bed was very comfortable and staff were super helpful as well. Even the coffee machine produced great coffee with oat milk feature - lovely spacious bar area - clean lines type of hotel with a little bit of chintz

Very grand looking hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night with friends. Our first impressions were great, from the friendliness of the reception staff, the general look and feel, the room was lovely and the bed comfortable. However there were a couple of things that would have made this 5*. This hotel was quite expensive for one night. As such I expected there to be a nice range of toiletries provided. Instead there were pump dispensers attached to the walls. The pumps were not easy to use and required a good amount of effort to give up any of their contents. Breakfast was not included and we had chosen not to include it when booking. However the morning after our stay we did pay for Breakfast. Breakfast was served up until 11am. When we arrived in the dining room around 10.20 (our friends about 10.30) many of the continental options were either empty or with minimal content. Had these 2 factors not been as expected I would definitely had given this hotel 5* as it's location, presentation and general feel were lovely. We were given a complimentary drink each to use in the bar though which was a very nice touch on an extremely hot day, thank you.

Flowers and swans in bedroom

The bedroom was beautifully decorated with rose petals , and breakfast was nagnificent. Thank you for making the stay so memorable for my daughter and Son in law after their wedding.

Moderately upscale, only complaint is lack of shower. Only tub and hand held wand. And if only there was a place in the UK or Europe that had wash cloths. Pluses = location, breakfast.
