I was truly so disappointed by my stay at Grand Palladium. The property is beautiful, but that is the only benefit of this resort. The food and drinks were terrible and disappointing every meal. The only restaurant we had a decent meal and great service was at the Thai restaurant. Usually the service in Mexico is stellar. Here, it felt like guests were a bother to the staff. With the VIP upgrade, we were supposed to get a personal assistance and she wasn’t helpful or hard to get in contact with. The elevator in our building was broken 5 out of the 7 days we were there. Walking around the resort was stressful since we were constantly dodging the carts that take you around the resort. It was nice having the option of a cart or boat to take you to different parts of the resort. The decor is stunning throughout the resort. It’s such a shame that they aren’t putting attention to important things like food, drinks, and service.

The hotel property is very vast, they offer trams to get around the property. They have a variety of restaurants available from a buffet option, and steakhouse to a reservation-only Thai restaurant, Japanese hibachi, and steakhouse. The spa is relaxing and equal to stateside services. The staff is very focused on guest comfort.

Overall, my family (2 adults, 2 young children) had a nice visit to this resort. Upon check-in, we upgraded to the Family Selection area, which provided access to an additional pool and kids activities during our stay. We also had a butler, who answered all of our questions in person and through WhatsApp. They were also able to get us boxed lunches for our excursions and the flight home. We loved all of the pools and resort restaurants. Our kids also loved the kids theater shows, which happened at 8:00pm daily. We also appreciated the frequent shuttle carts to help us get around the property. The beach was nice, but there were high winds during our stay, so we didn't spend much time there. Removing one star because the property had some maintenance issues. Some with our room, which were promptly fixed once we reported with our butler. Another with a jagged table edge at a restaurant which ripped my husband's shirt and also sliced my son's cheek open (promptly treated by a resort medic).

I want to start by saying we did not have a bad experience here, but we attended a wedding and were with a group of friends. The food at this location was really sub par. In addition to that everything is so far to walk they have golf carts running all over trying to pick people up to take them where they need to go. This was really a pain to deal with. I would suggest going to Xcaret hotel, Nizuc, Secrets, Riu or if you want to venture into Playa goto the Hilton. Much better experiences in my opinion. Many places I still haven’t been to, but I can say that we won’t be spending our time back at this location.

In general, our stay wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either due to the slow room service. I requested an extra comforter for the sofa bed, and it took more than an hour to arrive—I had to call five times. When I asked for additional towels and tea bags, it also took over an hour, which was frustrating, especially when my kids were ready to sleep around 10 PM, and the comforter didn’t arrive until midnight. I requested clean towels before showering, but by the time they arrived, we had already dried off while waiting. I also asked for tea bags, but they never came. These small inconveniences negatively impacted our overall experience at the hotel. Additionally, making dinner reservations could be smoother and faster—no one wants to wait 30 minutes just to book a meal. That said, the quality of the dinner restaurants was excellent, and the hotel has many great aspects, but a few bad experiences can overshadow the good. Most importantly, beware of Expedia’s misleading advertisements. They show pictures of rooms with pool views, but in reality, the hotel is simply located on the pool side. If you're unlucky, like us, your view might be nothing but trees and people walking by. It’s poolside, not a pool view. Expedia should stop deceiving customers with false advertising—starting a vacation with disappointed kids is not fun.

We spent at the resort 7 days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday no activities at the theater because there are weddings so if you’re not part of the wedding, there are no shows which for a resort of this level I believe is not OK. We used to stay in smaller resorts, and there was always entertainment for the guests every evening. Also a resort like this could have better drinks, at least in the lobby bar. The main buffet was amazing and the food was always good there, if you stay at the family selection, the Argentinian steakhouse was the best. All other restaurants are a waste of time ( personal opinion). The resort territory it’s huge and it’s beautiful but the only one thing is that during the evening time after show is finished there is no golf cart available to take. there are just not enough for everyone. Everything else was pretty good.

We had a great time! The property is beautiful, beach is great! Very clean. Staff is very polite and friendly. Food is good. You won’t be disappointed. Worth a little extra drive from Cancun.

Spent a week with family and trull amazed with the resort, facilities, staff services and the beach. The resort is composed of 3 units, Grand Palladium Select, Grand Palladium Family Selection and TRS (adults). We stayed at GP Select with granted access to GP Family Selection areas, restaurants and pools. We had access to 2 buffets and 7 restaurants ( Italian, steakhouse, Thai, Japanese, American, Mexican and Mediterranean) as well to the different bars, snack bars around the different pools. We did not have access to TRS. Dinning options were very diversified and great quality. Complex is new and rooms are very clean with excellent staff service. The pools are clean with many activities during the day. The beach is great, clear waters, no rocks and very easy find a chair, same around the pools.

When we booked the Grand Palladium through Expedia, we were promised a $600 resort credit and a free bottle of wine. Both showed on our reservation details. Neither of these were provided by the resort. Upon letting Expedia know, they did not make it right, stating they have to “abide by the seller’s decision”. I will no longer be using Expedia and will not stay at the Grand Palladium. False advertising by both. Buyer beware
