This charming and retro, two-bedroom Cannon Beach vacation rental offers a private hot tub, beach access, and a dog-friendly attitude for six guests! This getaway is perfect for extended stays, or a small celebratory retreat along Oregon's beautiful coast!

Rhododendron Grove is just blocks from quaint coastal shopping and fine seafood restaurants downtown, and minutes from exploring tide pools and hiking at Ecola State Park or flying kites at Les Shirley Park.

This 70s style cottage offers a cozy living room with reclining furniture, a sleeper sofa, and even a vintage piano. Beat the rainy day blues with a VHS or DVD, or gather around the coffee table for boardgames! Stream your favorite shows on in-house WiFi or flip through the channels on the flatcsreen cable TV.

The fully stocked kitchen offers a breakfast bar for two and dining table for six. Fry up the catch of the day or host a clam bake! Sliding glass doors off the kitchen lead to the patio.

With two bedrooms and one bathroom, this charming getaway has space for up to six guests. Sleeping arrangements include a king-size bed, queen-size bed, and a sleeper sofa in the living room for extra sleeping options! The washer and dryer will keep your clothes sand-free so pack light!

Outside is an oasis for you and Fido (with an additional nightly dog fee). The home is on a double lot and features plenty of green space, beautiful ferns, flowering shrubs and rhododendrons.

The home is older & very dated, but clean & comfortable for a family beach getaway! We enjoyed the quiet, spacious living room & dining area for breakfast mornings @ card games & board games at night. The Hot-tub was clean & warm temperature.

Nice location

I obviously knew this property was "vintage" when i booked it. However theres a fine line between vintage and rundown. The floor in bathroom needs to be replaced. Its peeling up. Probably full of black mold. The shower head is barely functioning. It is VERY dark inside. The couches are very very old. Does not have a dishwasher. Most pots/pans need to be replaced. Found a pair of someones dirty underwear under end table in livingroom. Had cobwebs throughout. Dryer had a load of damp towels in it when we arrived. However, with all that being said we still had a great time. The hot tub was nice and the location to beach access was just a short walk and dog friendly. Close to all the great shops/restaurants in Cannon beach.

Charming beach cabin

This is one of the best bargains in Cannon Beach. Vintage cabin. Only 3 blocks from the beach, and had all the amenities we needed. We cooked all of our meals at the house so appreciated the ample cookware and spices, oils, etc. Sunny private back porch with propane grill. We didn't get to use the hot tub this time but hope to next visit. Lots of towels including beach towels. Very quiet neighborhood. Little city parrk with picnic benches right across the street. It felt like visiting Grandma's cabin if our grandmother owned a cabin in Cannon beach! :-)

Can't say this house sleeps 6. Fold out sofa was unusable. Sagged terribly and smelled like dog pee. BBQ did not work. Electric griddle did not work. Bathroom fan did not work and was a fire hazard. Outside deck lights would not shut off. There were plug ins that sparked and shocked, also a fire hazard. Threadbare dish towels, unusable frying pans.

As long as you are at the beach and only sleep here it's fine

Ive thought a lot on how to write this review and still don't know but if you expectations are low and you are OK with it being severely dated and only plan on sleeping in it vs hanging out a lot inside then it'll be OK. We were there for 3 weeks which was way too long at this home ... Its very dark inside, many outlets and lights don't work, there is no coat hooks, the host is VERY unresponsive, the sofa bed was broken, the picnic table was cut to only fit tall people, the outdoor chairs were filthy dirty, the house smelled, the hard surfaces felt clean enough, but the carpet/sofas etc made you feel like you needed a shower. That all said this was booked a month prior to our trip and was the very last home in CB that allowed dogs ... (we had to cancel our other rental that was not pet friendly when we got our puppy earlier than expected) Anyhow Im trying to be kind but just the reality of it was that its a 2 on a 5 scale...we will not stay here again nor recommend the home.

Cozy and well-situated

Perfect spot for some friends and I to enjoy Cannon Beach with our dogs. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood where we didn't have to worry about disruptive vehicle traffic. The classic interior made us feel right at home shortly after arriving. All of us were a few minutes' walk away from the coastline, which we took full advantage of. I would happily stay here again.

Great location/cozy home

Great 2-bedroom home in the woods near town. An older home with wood paneling, comfortable couches and chairs and nice beds. Feels like a home, not a sterile condo. Easy access to the beach with a 5 minute walk. Would stay again.

We loved how close this place was to the beach, about 1.5 blocks up hill. and about a10-15 min walk downtown. Nice big table for cards and board games. comfortable beds.

Good time, happy home

Nice house, hot tub was nice. Cozy little cabin, not drafty at all, good heat t/o. We love throwback sorta vintage furniture, and these guys had a bunch of it. Love it wish more places kept their old furniture around. Spent a lot of time playing games and laughing. We’re definitely coming back. Liked seeing the family photos on the wall, makes the experience more real to see the people who owned or lived there. Thanks!

Great place and great location!

For my family of four we loved this place! The reason I’m not giving a 5 star review is the fireplace wasn’t working. If your bringing little ones bring some cups and silverware, I don’t like giving my 3yr old glass. We absolutely loved the location though and would stay here again for sure!

Love it! Cute home with just about everything you need; home away from home!

The home was very nice, wish the windows had screens so they could be opened without bugs coming, but overall it was a fantastic time. Thank you for sharing your home with us. My grandchildren and children loved the decor!

Retro is definitely the best word use for this rental. Here is that everything in this place was purchased new back in the 60s/70s but hardly ever used. Very clean, and I enjoyed listening to the rain and the birds all the time. Hot tub was a huge bonus which was very clean also.

This cottage in Cannon Beach is ideally situated. It's an easy walk to the main shopping areas, beach and not too far to Haystack Rock. The interior of the house is dated with dark wood panelling throughout making it very dark inside. There's plenty of room and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable.

Perfect for our group

This is a great rental for a family or small group of friends. Kitchen is well-equipped. Hot tub is perfect!!! Beach is only a short walk away. It was quiet and spacious. Super clean and well-managed! We would stay here again.
