Very nice property with friendly and helpful staff, good value at around 100 dollars per night. Central and felt safe (considering Cape Town / South African standards). The breakfast included was great.

Centrally located wonderful hotel

Spacious room with a sofa and comfortable chair and kitchen with kitchen. Lovely staff! Breakfast was included with delicious full offerings. Centrally located we would stay here again!

The Onyx was fantastic! Highly recommend for great location, walkable to Cape Town waterfront, outstanding staff, Granite the on-site bar had great service and outdoor seating, onsite breakfast was speedy and tasty. Great experience.

Clean apartment rooms with excellent room service every day when needed. Friendly staff who are very helpful. The hotel is in an area downtown that is walkable to most places and about a 15-20 min walk to the waterfront. It was right next to the conference centre. There is free parking for hotel guests as well which was very handy as we rented a car for our trip.

The person who checked us in did not give us an upgrade or free breakfast. We got a bottle of wine. However, the front desk is very helpful. They provided us with 2 adapters. We were able to get local currency exchange immediately and they went a mile to accompany us to a grocery/convenience store. We forgot the name of the person who showed us visually where to pick up the hop on and off bus. He even checked on us while we were at Burger King to make sure we were ok. They were very courteous. The date of our stay was Feb. 7 -9.

The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for sharing with our daughter age 22. It gave us our own space & together sitting areas. Staff very friendly, courteous & pleasant. No complaints whatsoever. The only thing we didn’t like was losing the sun at the outside pool area @12.45pm. The height of the building & the location of the pool was the reason., otherwise we really enjoyed our stay . Thankyou.
