Online check-in was a breeze earlier in the day. Got to the hotel around 10pm and was tired. They gave me my keys and I went straight to my room and to bed, no paperwork or anything which what saved my day. Compfy bed, clean room, breakfast was ok.

The person that checked us in was not friendly at all. I asked for my 2 rooms to be next to each other and she did not acknowledge my request. Never made eye contact either. Once we got to our rooms one set of keys did not work. I walked back down and they reset the key still did not work. When I went back down the same girl tried to tell me others were in line first after I told her the opportunity where my family was still waiting on the hallway after a 5 hour long drive to get here. Still with the same bad attitude she had from the get go. At least if you’re going to be in the hospitality business make an effort. No I will not stay at LaQuinta again. Try and get friendlier people working for you that at least care about the customer. Thank you

I especially appreciated the staff for servicing us when there was a problem with Expedia and our original reservation with another property. We were grateful to finally be able to check in to a room and get some rest. We couldn't figure out the air conditioner, so the outside noise kept me awake. The white noise from an air conditioner would have helped alot. Otherwise the room was quite adequate.

“Blah” is the Word

The word I can best come up with to describe this hotel is “blah”. The staff was adequate, not particularly nice or welcoming, but they got the job done. There were definitely some odors about the property. For example, I walked into the lobby, and it smelled like someone had oversprayed Lysol all over. The elevators had a mustier type of odor, the room another. The elevators seemed old and in need of some maintenance. My kids were nervous about riding in them thinking they were going to get stuck. We didn’t get stuck. The included breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. Maybe provide ice for the drinks and plain water, rather than requiring guests to go down the hall to the hotel ice machine and water fountain. Again “blah” is the description that comes to mind. The room was clean enough and had the basic necessities, but nothing special.
