Beds were not comfortable

Our room was clean on arrival. They did have a heated pool and gym which my family used during our stay. The pool was in the small side but my kids enjoyed it. My only area for improvement would have been with the bed and pillows. The bed was very hard which I know some people enjoy but I did not and the feather/down pillows were flat. If I visit again I’ll bring a comforter and pillows of my own.

The first night was great second night didn’t get much sleep I had to make several complaints about the noise above my head: between the persons dog and somebkdy running and jumping back and forth even my children were complaining.

Good place to stay if you don't mind a soft bed

This was a decent stay. My only real complaint was the soft mattresses. My granddaughter travelling with me and I both have bad backs and the soft beds just made it worse. Also, the room walls were painted a dark color, so dust really shows. You could see where they had swiped dusters, but that only accentuated the upper parts that weren't dusted. Service was great, though, and the staff was always wearing a welcoming smile.

Upon checking in, I was asked to provide identification. I used my NC driver's license and was then informed that because I have a Charlotte, NC address, I am subjected to a $200 hold on my credit card for incidentals. Even the General Manager, James tells me to my face that they don't want to rent rooms to "Locals"! I took much offense to that quote and asked for the corporate number and Hames says that they dont give out that information! I located the company running this property and informed them of this travesty and I haven't heard back from them sine I left their Regional Mana GG er a voicemail! This is blatant discrimination and targeting people because of their address on their indenfication and then upcharging the incidentals charge to discourage patronage of this property!
