We enjoyed our stay here. Consuela greeted us at the front desk and was very personable and helpful, even showing me how to get the rewards set up in the app. The hotel smelled great, like very clean, including our room. We were very pleased with the overall cleanliness of the room and the bed comfort. The continental breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was very attentive! Offering to bring over drinks and even checking on ys during our meal. My only feedback constructively is that the bathroom was inside our bedroom, which really cut into me and my husband having privacy from the kids, which was the goal of selecting a hotel with a private bedroom. Breakfast could have been a little hotter and the bacon less crispy/crumbly; but minor feedback in the grand scheme. We also traveled with our dog and we appreciate a hotel that allows the pet to stay without a dumb rule that "pets can't be left unattended," like other hotels. The hotel was peaceful and we didn't have any issues with noise or rowdy guests. We will definitely stay again when we visit Charlotte! The staff and cleanliness of the hotel was 10/10!!!

The Staff was friendly and the bed/room was great. The hotel is right next to the freeway and the truck traffic was terrible. When staying here insist on a room facing the front of the building.

Great getaway.

Our visit was perfect from start to finish. Every member of the staff was friendly and welcoming. "Is there anything else you need ?" was the most heard phrase. The quality of the complementary breakfast buffet was several levels above the standard hotel included breakfast. The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The full kitchen was completely stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glasses. The location is less than 1/2 mile away from a large mall with over a dozen choices of casual dining and fastfood restaurants. The location is pet friendly and less than 1/4 mile from a veterinary hospital. We would definitely return for a short or long stay.

Good staff but property needs updating

The staff was extremely nice, but it appears that the owners are not investing in the property. Our room needed updates at least ten years ago. The bathroom was small, grout was brown (should've been white if clean), wallpaper was peeling. Room smelled musty. Heating vents were loud and spewed dust. Pull out sofa was in bad shape. Not what we expected from the photos. Breakfast buffet was very basic. The staff helping at the buffet, on the other hand, were amazingly attentive and thoughtful. Located in a nice area, across from a large outdoor mall with lots of food choices.

The rooms and areas of this location are in need of some repair - carpet in the room is warped and fraying and wall.paper peeling by the elevators but otherwise met our needs just fine. Consuela at reception was a delight and as nice as they come.

If you don’t drive this is not the hotel for you. No food or drink service after breakfast and it’s a bit away from other options. If you like quiet- it’s fab! Mostly American tourist and lots of dogs and dog people are friendly! A lot of people after hurricane Helene were being put up while we were there and the staff went above and beyond for them. Really nice to see
