This hotel is okay. Doesn’t offer anything by over the top that any other place doesn’t offer. They tack on this amenity fee which in my opinion, is ridiculous, but whatever. Smack dab right in the middle of everything you want in Chicago. Cleanliness and service could be a lot better.

The property was in a great location, staff was amazing, free breakfast was great, however our room on the second floor faced an alley and resteraunt and the noise level was intolerable. Trash service in alley daily at 530 am, food delivery trucks, resteraunt operations, crowds and music until 2am, there was no rest in this room at all.

My experience at Kinzie was unfortunately not a good one. I arrived at the hotel at 3pm to check in just to find out my room was not yet ready. It wasn’t a big deal because I need to do a tour anyways so I went and can’t back 3 hours later only to be told once again that my room (which was now a different room) still wasn’t ready and needed to wait 30+ minutes for the room. I ended up needing to take a different room that I booked with no view. No amenities were explained to me I was just given a key and told what the room number was.

Nice No frills river north spot

The location is what sold us! I’ve never stayed in river north before and it was so convenient. The hotel itself is pretty no frills but the happy hour and breakfast are nice adds. Biggest complaint is the Kinzie street is busy and loud on weekend nights. Honking, yelling, music until late but the week nights were chill. Pro tip: go to Harry Carey’s across the street and sit at the bar

this is a great location, walking distance to sight seeing, great restaurants, shopping. complimentary water, happy hour and breakfast made everything all that more great. i cant reccomend this hotel enough. the front desk staff are great and very helpful.

Great little hotel in the heart of it all!

Great location for a weekend trip. It's VERY noisy on Saturday nights as it's right in the heart of a bar district. Sunday night was MUCH more quiet.

Great Stay for Family

The Kinzie hotel was great for our family! Close to restaurants and shopping. Staff was excellent and very attentive. Asked for extra pillows and they were delivered quickly. Front desk was extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was perfect to get the day started.
