Convenient downtown property. I don’t know how efficient the “safe entry” is when the door stays open for about 20 seconds (or longer) after using your key card. There were 2 women waiting outside that followed me inside. They didn’t go further than the lobby, but it still gave me an uneasy feeling. I wonder if there is a solution to this.

This was my first time staying at the Kinzie hotel. My boyfriend and I just spent the weekend in Chicago for my birthday and we had the best experience! The king bed was incredible! We both slept so well. The location was close to everything. We walked down to the magnificent mile and went to the Riverwalk. There was even a mini fridge in the room which was nice for our leftovers. I highly recommend this hotel. The front desk people were incredibly helpful with great attitudes and always had a smile. We will be back!

Very quiet rooms, other than the sirens from emergency vehicles, like most large downtown cities. Nice breakfast and happy hour included. The only disappointments we had were the lack of any type of recycling program, there is a lot of plastic waste generated from the breakfast room, and the hotel parking was extremely expensive.
