Residence Inn Chicago

The reception is on the 20th floor and concierge service at street level. Concierge staff could have been more welcoming with a smile on entry and exit. There is no room service - you order and then collect yourself from the bar. After a long flight from the UK, this felt exhausting but the gentleman in the restaurant greeted me on arrival and got me seated and the bar staff were very attentive and friendly as I waited only a matter of minutes for a very delicious salmon meal. Breakfast was complimentary and had lots of options in a spacious room overlooking the city. My room had a kitchen and microwave and full cutlery/crockery etc which was unexpected but welcome as I could retreat into my room after a busy day and relax with some snacks etc
