Sighs to the parking situation

The location was great but parking not so. If u have a car, you need to pray very hard that Latimer Square has a free parking lot for you if not you will have to pay for parking. It was 10 min walk away and with luggage it is no joke. There are free 5 min parking just outside the hotel for us to load luggage etc but there are taxis waiting there (definitely for more than 5 min) and they took up all the lots. This happened to us when we first arrived and even on the day we left -_- We kind of regretted not choosing another hotel with free parking. Otherwise, it is a hotel in the central area of Christchurch and you can walk to Riverside Market from there. Everything else requires you to drive so getting a hotel with a convenient and free parking lot is more important.

I always stay here when I come to Christchurch and the location is very convenient. The view from my room this time was a brick wall and there was very little natural light coming into the room which was not pleasant.

The hotel room was nice and the staff were great. Had a nice breakfast. Unfortunately, there was a nigh club or something close by and the music was very loud until about 3am. Made it very hard to have a good nights sleep.

I stayed here (for the third time) for a conference. The location was excellent, the staff nice and the rooms good size. House keeping knocked to do the room very early on my first morning, I found that inconvenient.

Good location

Great location, reception staff great. Hitel was generally pretty good but Room was freezing on arrival, beds not very comfy and only 2 towels for 3 people booked. Would stay again but would make sure i was getting a bigger bed.

The Ibis on Hereford St was a great choice for a city centre break. Everything within walking distance supported by excellent public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable. Mostly quiet except for a couple of loud talkers in the corridor late one night, but it didn't last long.
