I booked a night stay at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Caseyville
expecting a basic level of cleanliness and functionality. What I received was an immediate, visceral lesson in disappointment. This wasn't a hotel stay; it was an active exercise in endurance, a monument to corporate negligence, and, frankly, a public health hazard.
Upon entry, I was immediately hit by a potent, damp odor—a vile mixture of stale cigarettes and industrial-strength mildew. The carpet was a tapestry of unidentifiable stains, looking less like flooring and more like a forensic crime scene.
- Had to change 3 rooms one worst than the other
- Elevator doesn't work
- No breakfast available
Do not, under any circumstances, allow yourself or a loved one to stay at this establishment. Save your money, save your sanity, and save yourself the trouble of scrubbing the lingering feeling of dread off your skin. This hotel is not just bad; it is actively, aggressively hostile to the concept of hospitality. It should be shut down and fumigated.
