Carparking over charging

Confusion over the local car park Overnight parking city hall Cork I have a toll pass for carpark I was charged €42 for overnight parking The hotel offers €11 I challenged the hotel staff and they said nothing they could do Miss information from hotel And QPark didn’t help either An expensive experience Won’t be back

The hotel is very centrally located, 5min walk to all city shopping, dining and bars. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Served sandwiches in the bar when we arrived late even though service had closed. Hotel rooms are not sound proof and TV sound from adjoining rooms can be heard clearly. Rooms get hot without the AC on, AC a little noisy but OK

You need to at heat to your buffet.

Parking was available but a 15min walk away. The room window looked out at an old dirty wall about 2m away. The main issue however was the breakfast, the buffet was stone cold, the chafing dish looked like a relic and had tin can heating it with chemical smell. After adding on breakfast we ended up stop on the road for food.

Nice but needs a few tweaks. Beds not that comfortable as mattress far too soft. We tried to change rooms but were told that all the mattresses were the same. The heating kept turning off after 20 mins and the room was cold .The toilet broke as well and I was called to say we had to change rooms as it was New Year’s Eve and no staff. We were out at the time so returned to the hotel to change only to be told it had been fixed. Why they didn’t call to tell me this and save me a journey I don’t know . Still, nice people all the same. We were able to leave our bags when we checked out which was very handy as our flight was not until the evening. We did order food in the bar but it was inedible . Not recommended . Overall a good stay but needs a few dots joining and an upgrade on the food.

Very Decent Hotel in Perfect Location

Very decent hotel in a great location - walking distance to bus station and short ride to train station - easy walking to all the highlights of Cork - restaurant was actually very good - so large tour groups that were a pain in the ass but come with the territory - staff was helpful

Best hotel stayed in and that says a lot. Such a great location, great bar and breakfast, lunch was also delicious. They let us into the room early, we were exhausted after an early flight so it was a god send. Obviously, it wouldn’t be a given and would depend on occupancy but we were very fortunate. Will definetely recommend the hotel to all family and friends and will not stay anywhere else in Cork.

We loved this hotel, it was clean and staff were friendly. What really made it the best hotel of our trip was the manager in the breakfast area; he was amazing! Also, the bartender was lovely.
