2 stars and let me explain. Checked in, received our room key, went to the room the door was already open. Huge Red Flag! Got into the room with my family, the beds were barely made. There were no pillow cases on the pillows. The room generally was not ready. To not make a fuss, we asked the cleaning lady for some pillow cases, as she was already on our floor. She said, no unfortunately thats only something the front desk can provide. The staff were friendly enough, however, guest services said for the inconvenience they would provide breakfast vouchers for my family of 4. It never came. The room they moved us to wasnt the cleanest little left over dust/crums on the floor. The bathroom sink appeared to be clogged as it took some time for the water to drain. It was an unfortunate experience. 1 star because the staff were generally pleasant and the location is close to the highways and 1 more because fortunately for us we were only there 1 night, they had a pool for the kid (which we didnt use) and the beds were confortable. After a 5 hour drive we didnt need the hassle of changing rooms and the orher room being just as poor.

I liked everything about this hotel stay except the breakfast. It could've been a lot better specifically waffles and pancakes but there was a good variety, the sausage were delicious and the serbice was exceptional so that made up for it! Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Disgusting Pool at an Otherwise Decent Hotel

I brought my family here while visiting some friends. We fully intended to use the pool multiple times a day, at the start and end of our days. The front desk staff was very pleasant and welcoming, and the room itself was comfortable and clean. The parking lot was also excellently well lit. Unfortunately, the pool completely ruined what could have been a great stay. While the water was pleasantly warm, the pool was disgusting. There were sticks, leaves, bugs, and even a bandage floating in it. On top of that, there was a noticeable film across the surface and throughout the water. I immediately notified the front desk on our first night—staff were polite, seemed genuinely concerned, and said they would contact maintenance right away. I took my young daughter out and we immediately showered, happy we did get our heads or faces in the pool water. When I checked the pool the following night, it was still in the same condition—bandage and all. It’s clear that no one addressed the issue. For a Marriott property, I expected much better upkeep and attention to cleanliness, especially in a shared facility like the pool.

Our server, Jolie(?) was the best. Efficient and caring. The first day we stayed, there was more staffing and when we came to breakfast it appeared that our server did not have any assistance. Being a server for over 20 years- it was obvious to see the lack of support that she had, no bid boy, no manager in sight which was disappointing to see on a Saturday morning and about 25 people she was esotojf on. We got everything we needed and as I mentioned, our server was great!
