The staff personnel were all very courteous and professional. The property was well maintained. Inside the building, it was a quiet environment, even late at night. The room was clean. The bedsheets were good quality but had a few black stains on the pillow cases, probably from previous guest’s mascara. The bathroom was very small. The toilet bowl had a yellow circle of stain. The maintenance staff could benefit from a really good laundry detergent and some toilet bowl cleaner, applied regularly. I’m not comfortable seeing evidence of previous guests’ stay still visible in my room.

Situated south of Spring Green and pet friendly, so we stayed there with our small dog. Very friendly staff and right on the main road from Dodgeville to Spring Green.

The morning person at the desk was very personable. Remembered that my wife and I were going for a hike and asked us how it was. Always said good morning and told us to have a safe trip home. Thank you. We will be back.

The staff were very friendly. Pool area was clean, well ventilated, and water was warm! Breakfast was very nice. The hotel has been very nicely maintained and updated. The water pressure in our shower could be better but otherwise no complaints. We will definitely stay again!

Our second stay here

This hotel is located by a beautiful farm which we love looking at in the morning and evening. It is close to The House on a Rock and some cute shops and delicious restaurants. The rooms are spacious and have a table with two chairs which we appreciate because we eat our breakfast there and like to play cards. The breakfast has a nice assortment and is good quality. The only thing is the actual bathroom doesn’t have much space.

It smells so bad

It smelled so bad. The first floor area has an odor that is so pervasive that it made breakfast uncomfortable. We took some breakfast muffins with us for a walk and the smell from the first floor was infused in the food. I don’t know if they have a health code violation or what. Staff super nice but management needs to address the odor
