The staff was super kind and special thanks goes to restaurant staff. Area was good, everything was near and easy to go and also restaurant in the hotel was good and handy. Room was ok, but there was renovation on, so we could not relax as we would have liked and also the rooms cleaning was pretty poor quality.

Ensimmäisenä yönä sängystä löytyi huiksia ja television kaukosäädin puuttui. Lakanat vaihdettiin. Seuraavana päivänä huonetta ei siivottu ollenkaan vaikka lappu oli ovessa.Ympäristö ruma mutta keskusta suht lähellä. Huoneet kylmiä vaikka lämmitys oli täysillä.

Property is tired once you get past reception. Needs redecorating in the hallways and bedrooms. Bedrooms had loose fixtures. Breakfast is really good but expensive. Some rooms had heating/aircon problems that need fixing i.e. aircon didn’t work in one of the rooms. Area round hotel is convenient for Holyroodhouse palace but you need to walk a fair way if you want to go to any decent restaurants so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Hotel restaurant is overly expensive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Best thing about this hotel is the staff, the breakfast and location for Holyroodhouse palace and the castle is a mile away.
