Staff were very unprofessional

Booked two rooms and they were terrible. Sink in the washroom was clogged. When i talked to front reception, she told me she can't do anything. Handle of the chair was broken. Over all i had a very terrible experience staying there. I booked this hotel reading reviews on hotel.com, it was disaster.

Staff was not particularly friendly but they did their job. Most times they talk to you without a personal touch. You could see they have no interest in customer service but just the pay check. You ask them a question, they don't even look at you or pause whatever they are doing, they just answer you not withstanding if you understand t their response was satisfactory. Overall, ok staff.

Staff was EXTREMELY RUDE upon check in!! Then we were having problems with our keys... Apparently the lock was out of batteries, but WE were being blamed for demagnitizing them! He tried fixing the lock which we were umm busy... And kept 'trying' to open the door!!!! So obviously we had to ask him to open the door every single time. THEN, the nosy guy opens our door and walks right into our room THREE times (we were trying to have a romantic weekend) but my anxiety levels at that point just ruined the entire weekend. And that was only night ONE. I'll NEVER go back! The room was an absolute disgrace too.

I really enjoyed my stay at Crystal Star Inn! When i got there, they had no hydro from a storm that had just recently rolled through but I had reserved and payed online, and they had record of that, so they were still able to let me into my room. Had to use my flashlight to see my way around and to use the washroom. The bed was super comfortable! The hydro returned overnight and in the morning i went to shower, but the hot water hester was still not working, so i had the privilege of taking an ice cold shower. It wasn't comfortable, but i felt so refreshed afterwords! While most people wouldn't find it to be a great experience, I really felt connected with the indians. I suppose they didn't have hydro either growing up and they wouldn't have hot water either when they turn on their showers. I could live like this a few more days!

Dont waste your money

Very dirty hotel. Coffee pot was not cleaned out and when i mentioned it all she said was oh. Patch work done on the wall. Floors not vacuumed. Bathroom had ripped and fraid bathmat. Fridge was really dirty. Front desk did not care at all.

The night clerk was terrific. Very nice and super helpful. The morning clerk was unfriendly. When I asked if there was any juice left he scowled and turned the machine on. There was no coffee so I didn’t bother asking this was at 9am. I froze all night. No ac on but the room was freezing and the heater didn’t work.
